My first map was called Fatum Specus ^^ It means Fate Cave in Latin which I thought was so cool at the time!

I was soooo proud of it!!
(It still exists if anyone wants it :'D)

My first map ever was some map I made for a... very unsuccessful pack. I don't have the download or files anymore, but it was called Mystery Dreams or something like that. No heightmap, only objects. It actually wasn't that bad, I kinda wish I still had the files now.

My first public map was Endless Tunnel. Just a very small tunnel map, I still kinda like it. Very simple but it's nice for screenshots.

Aha, I remember my first map I made. Plain and simple, it was a disaster. Objects floating here and there and meshes so big and oversized the grass and flowers were ten stories higher than your character XD. Although I don't make as many maps as I used to, all I can say is that I'm so glad I've improved since then.

Mine was a Highland map inspired by my holiday to Scotland a few years ago. It had mountains, valleys, lochs, forests and dens. It wasn't bad for a first try, but as with everything it could have been better.
Though I don't make many maps now I think I've improved since then...I hope.

Ahhh, I remember it like it was yesterday. I used the Watermill map, but I wanted to try my hand at a large map to start things off. So I made it as big as the game could handle and began. I finished it with only the default objects, and it just sat there in Map Maker, because at the time, I had no idea I had to export it and all that business.
I just might use that as inspiration for a lake map someday.

I haven't released any of my maps publicly as they're all shabby messes, but my first map was Maroon Island. It was just a small, simple circular island with reddish soil and full of trees and those temple structures. I remember not bein' able to get any downloaded items workin' except for some deer. Deer Island would have been a more fittin' name actually now that I'm thinkin' back...

My first map was the eyesore that is Rainbow Land, which is still actually available for download in my creations thread. Just. A lot of objects in a lot of colours. It's an ascension map, where you have to climb to the top. It's not exactly challenging, but, eh. It was a start. Mostly to practise with materials. Or so I'll say. c':

It was a super long time ago so I don't know if I remember right, but I'm pretty sure I made a desert map with the watermill heightmap just like you lol xD I never released it, it was more of an experiment than anything and I tested a lot of stuff out like music and weather. Didn't keep it around for a long time but it was a gateway to man other maps to come :3
