Legendary Markings order messed up.
« on: August 18, 2016, 05:52:47 pm »
I've had this problem for a while, and no matter how many times i delete and restart the game the marking order for the body markings are messed up.

I've seen some people who have correct markings, and some who don't. We've made sure to have the same pack, and just ended up in confusion

Yes, this is the newest version of Legendary Markings.

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Pasting what the creator wrote at the bottom of their LM download description;

1) Download the .zip
2) Once you have downloaded it, double click on the file and it should open
3) Once open, you should see three files. One is a folder, one is a markings.cfg, and the other is a notepad file that states to put both the folder and .cfg in your Feralheart folder.
4) Locate your Feralheart Folder. If you are on windows, you can do this by clicking "Start" on your task bar, and going to "Computer". Once you have, go to C:, then look for the folder labelled "Feralheart" unless you installed elsewhere.
5) Enter the folder labelled "Feralheart"
6) Return to the .zip, grab the .cfg and media folder and drag them into your Feralheart Folder. It will install on it's own.
7) Say "Yes" to overwrite, for everything.
8) Run and login to Feralheart
9) Go to create a character, and go to the markings section
10) All new markings have been added at the bottom
11) Done! Enjoy! Hope this helped

Try this! It's an installation video made by the creator them-self!

Bonus comment  also by the creator:

"Question 1: Will this mess up my Mass Markings?
Answer: It might mess up a few things. There were a bunch of markings that were removed, so the likelihood of your marking being moved is very likely. Just search for the marking you used before. It will be better when everyone converts to this marking pack."

Thank you so much for trying to help! But, I've been doing it the same way as shown. Of course, I did it again to make sure- no dice.

Can you send me a screenshot of the issue? Might help a bit more! :)

EDIT:
Make sure you're putting the
markings.cfg in the Feralheart folder don't forget to replace it.
and then go back to the .zip folder and double click the media folder and copy all and paste it in your Feralheart > Media > Texture replace all

Second  One is hard to see, but the body marking is Koolie. Which is not what the top of is.

Also, I've done that as well

Ahh you know what? I do believe they remade a few of the markings which is why some may look a bit different than they did before.
Perhaps that is what happened.

Try installing the game again [re-installing] without installing any Feralheart Marking Mods other than the ones you're provided with for now. Because many people will be using the ones that were provided since they were given an "overhaul".

I currently have no ad ons installed, and most people have strange markings.

I have all the markings,  just the order has moved down one, It even appears on my old characters

Could you get me a screenshot of your character in the creator/editor area and choose a marking so I can see?

Have you tried installing and re-installing? Completely? That's what I would do and hope it works. Which it should.

Another thing that could possibly be the issue is your .cfg file itself is messed up. Although I'm not positive on this, but might as well give it a try eh? xD Anyway, I do have the markings .cfg file to download by itself right here.

Like I said, not positive this will help but it's worth a shot. :)
