Adding Music To Map
« on: September 05, 2016, 05:21:02 pm »
I'm having trouble adding music to my map. I am typing the name of the file exactly how it is in the music bar, it's in the sounds folder, but it just won't work. Help??

Did you put it with the brackets? It might not work with them you should simply type in the group name without the brackets.

Hmm Can you send me a screenie of the group in notepad so I can see it? It could be the music files.

Here you go.

Am I possibly typing something wrong? Did I delete something by mistake?

Go into your sounds folder and put it in music folder and go to your cfg and type in media/music/Gangsta.mp3 I dont think the sounds folder would work.

another thing you can do is save your music under the "sacred" part and see if that'll work in your map

When you add music to your map you need to put the .mp3 files into your music folder.

You're then going to go into your music.cfg and instead of where it says /sounds you'd type /music.
When you put it in your sounds folder, the only way you'll hear the music in your map is if your Effects volume is turned up, while if it's in your music folder, you'll hear it with your Music volume turned up.

Make sure you turn the Effects volume up in your options if you plan on keeping the music files in your sounds folder.
