Weird stuff upon downloading

I got a new laptop for christmas, but the feral heart installer is being strange. When I download the installer, it's still named fh web setup, but the icon is some weird thing that says something like "7z sfx" or something similar to that, and the file description is 7z setup sfx. Okay, already strange. When I run the file, I get a command prompt spitting out some strange stuff and a box that says "Windows Firewall has blocked some of the features of this app."

I have not run into this problem on ANY computer in the past, and again, this is a brand new laptop. I don't want any viruses on this computer.

The FH Web Setup does not contain any viruses, the black box window that appears is what is suppose to happen. As for the different icon problem I have no idea what may have caused that.

Just give the black box window enough time to install the game and you should be fine. =)

I ran into the same thing upon downloading the update via installer. I believe the 7z sfx is simply the program used to base the installer, it's basically what makes it so that the installer is easy to use. It's a "self-extracting" program that automatically places files where they're supposed to go in FH so you don't have to do it manually.

As for firewall, FH can often trigger it but it does not have any viruses so no worries~

Oh, okay. I didn't know that was supposed to happen, the installer was different last time I had to install the game. Thanks!

There are different ways to install the update (mediafire, torrent, web) so you may have just used a different method last time~
