No terrain masks

So this happened. I was working on creating a map, when FH decided my week hadn't been eventful enough :'3

After closing out of FH to download a mesh, I came back to enter the map, and recieved this message:

Okay, alarming. Perhaps I made an error saving the map?


Nope, it does to other maps as well. Puzzled with the situation, I decided to restart it, as I hadn't gotten very fall at all and did not mind. Enter problem #2.

My masks were not showing up. I would enter them in map maker...nothing. Not even a 'not found' error. They just did not show up. I logged on and decided to see if it was affecting the default maps as well.

It was. I truly have no idea what happened, none of the files have been altered. Only thing different was the download of a priderock mesh.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have a ton of maps and content on my FH and having to redownload it would be a tragedy.

Anyways, so your heightmap and terrain masks aren't showing up or the actual textures (like grass, rock, etc) on the ground?

I don't really know how to help you with the masks showing up yet, but I'd like to let you know your images aren't showing up, as Kiki said. Be sure not to use Tinypic as it no longer works on the site ^^

I can see your photos. This is odd, I've never seen this happen.

Did you try installing any items again like Legendary or Mass?
Maybe you might have accidentally deleted a file somehow.

Try re-installing the game, that may fix any faults in the files that are on your computer.

The terrain.cfg is within your map's folder within Terrains. Something must've been altered in their coding OR they were somehow deleted or replaced. Here's an image of an example of two of my own Terrain.cfg files. See if yours look similar~



As for the masks not working, check in your Terrains folder and make sure they still exist! I noticed that in the Terrain.material file there is a space where the Mask goes. Make sure it hasn't been deleted or changed.
