Welcome to Beau Port, Maine. A quaint seaside town of only 800 residents. Lighthouses and lobsters and surf crashing on the rocky shore are what come to mind when you think of Beau Port's notorious coastline. The town is known for its quintessential mix of urban sophistication and natural views. For tourists, it's the ultimate New England de getaway, but for the residents of Beau Port, it's everyday life and the pursuit of happiness.

 I've finally decided to try my hand at creating a human RP since I've been hankering for something non-animal for awhile now! As of right now, Beau Port is only seeking co-creators/founders! We will have lots of work to do before we're ready to open Beau Port to the public. Below, you will find a heap of essential information.

So, what's the plot?
Well, lemme tell ya! Beau Port is going to focus primarily on developing human characters and forming bonds and relationships within the group, OOC and IC! Members of this RP will be urged to create plotlines between there characters. This will help create a highly immersive and connected experience! The plots you create will be solely at your discretion! There will be no overlying plot! Just the development of bonds, relationships and your character!

What's on the to-do list?
Beau Port is fresh and budding idea, so there's lots that needs created and molded. By applying to be a co-founder, you're signing yourself up for lots of brainstorming and creating! Here's an in-depth list of what needs done!

• Site - the site will be created via proboards! A site has not been created yet, so this will be our first step towards creating Beau Port.
• Map - Beau Port will take place in a map to give us more free-reign on where we go and what we do. This map will be EXTREMELY low-lag. It will feature few objects (Mostly due to my computer's extreme inability to handle large, extravagant maps.) We will rely mainly on a inspiration post on the site that gives a feel for what Beau Port looks like!
• Recruitment - After the above 2 steps are complete, we'll be able to start recruiting! Throughout the creation process, we may be able to take early interest members!

Am I fit to be a co-founder?
I sure hope so! A co-founder must be literate, creative and active! I'd love it if you were active 3+ times a week and I fully understand that life gets in the way, so activity is negotiable! It'd be best that you have skype or some form of communication outside of FH or the forums, just so you're in touch with the group in bouts of inactivity. Since Beau Port is so new, I'd love to find someone who is creative and ready to help add exciting elements to the group. If you're really good with Proboards or map creation, that's a plus!

Oooh I've been looking for a good human roleplay for awhile now. I'd love to help ya get the ball rolling and sail into a strong, active roleplay.

Experience (Can you make maps? A site? Have you co-founded an RP before?) : I can make maps (though I'm working on a huge one for a friend right now, so I may not be able to do the map for this one), I'm very experience with proboards site making, having made several myself (this includes, templates, boards/categories, coding, themes, and more) I have helped co-found an rp before, yes, although unfortunately it never got off the ground.

RP Sample (This doesn't have to be extremely lengthy! I just wanna see how you can handle being a human!) : Cyper stuck his hands into the back pockets of his jeans and leaned slightly backward. A salty wind blew through his sandy hair as he stood on the edge of the pier, a lighthouse standing strong just to his left, frothy waves crashing just below him against the hard, concrete structure. The corners of his lips twitched into an half smile while he realized how good a life he had; his job at the cafe was going well and he'd nearly saved up enough money to move out of his apartment and buy a house by the water. For awhile, only the sound of the waves and wind surrounded the man, though the serenity was broken by a rather persistent beeping in his back pocket. Cyper pulled his hand out and pressed a small silver button on the side of his watch with a finger tip. The device silenced, though read 3:20, time for the late shift at the boat house; Cyper's second job.
