Meet Fadey! (Part Two)
« on: February 01, 2017, 01:28:19 am »
So, in part one we've seen what Fadey looks like, now let's get to know her just a little bit better!

I spent the past couple days coming up with a research project to better inform those who may encounter Fadey.

#//RESEARCH NOTES

/NAME: Fadey(*)
/GENDER: Female
/ORIENTATION: To be determined
/AGE: Roughly 3 years
/SPECIES: Predominant mix of Canis Lupis and Canis Rufus
/WEIGHT: 24.3kg, within average for her type

#/BEHAVIOR
Highly variable. Often well mannered upon first contact, however soon becomes irritated from the most minor impulses.
Ignorance and sometimes aggression soon follows. One exception appears to be with younger individuals. Fadey often
leaves the vicinity before one should get close for whatever reason. Does not engage in any contact with one whom
gets close.
Encounters at night prove vastly different. Irritation and ignorance is entirely nonexistance, and company is
more or less welcomed by Fadey. She appears to achieve a surge of energy, however not for very long. Late into the
night she appears to be overcome by fatigue. When this happens she disengages from nearby individuals, however
the previously noted irritable behavior does not reappear.

#Personal note:
/Very peculiar behavior. I can't quite determine if she's naturally irritable or naturally kind. However it is
quite certain that her behavior is not to be considered bi-polar or any of the like, as her mood is highly systematic.
Every day follows the exact same pattern. Perhaps some part of her daily routine is responsible? Or maybe someone
else? We'll have to wait and see.

#/APPEARANCE
/PHYSIQUE
Fairly large for a female, though nothing especially notable. Fadey's coat is quite obviously very dense and thick.
Fur appears to shine under light, possibly indicating it is silky in texture. Despite this, it has a very difficult
time repelling water, often remaining sodden for hours after exposure to even minor amounts of water. Most importantly, her coat
does not shed whatsoever during the summer. The effect of this is extensively noticable. Fadey clearly finds difficulty
in activity under direct sunlight, and on some days is forced to remain in cover until the sun sets. This is a trade off as
her coat performs remarkably during the winter, allowing her to endure the coldest of days with near impunity.

//ATTACK/DEFENSE
-This section will require further research to complete-
Fadey, despite her aggression during the day, will not under any circumstances (observed) engage in combat.
Every scenario in which one party has not defused the situation, Fadey has outrun her opposer without an even slight
attempt at attacking. While her extremely dense coat may provide protection from some minor attacks, the effects
of one striking her has not yet been observed. It is led to believe her lightweight frame is the reason for this. Her weight is
very easy to overmatch, making effective combat difficult, but allowing her to flee with an extreme degree of swiftness.

#Personal note:
/It is rather odd for her coat to not shed at all during the summer. Even worse is its inability to repel water.
I have a feeling it will quite quickly become more of a curse than a blessing should it become wet during the winter;
perhaps this is exactly why Fadey has not let it happen.

//I would have thought that she would especially take advantage of her speed and light frame as an advantage in combat,
however such is not the case. I might have to observe her while hunting and figure out her tactics. Surely any tactic she
has to take down a deer can take down a foe.

#/GENERAL
/VOCAL
Upon first contact, Fadey's voice can easily delude one. She is very well-spoken. Her voice is moderately high pitched
with a quick tempo, but each word is evenly paced with the last. Such can make one believe she is anything but
a ticking time bomb with their name burning on the fuse. Her speech is very guttural, and her syllables abrupt;
clearly German. This also explains her intermittent use of the German language.

//SOCIAL
-Keep in mind this section only refers to her reactions at night, due to the conditions stated above-
Fadey is rather lively during small talk. Constant gestures and a clearly defined interest in what another has to say
can easily bring words out of the most shy individual. She is mostly interested in figuring out information about others,
and reluctant to go too deep into her own personal life. While she does not make this obvious, it is difficult to miss.

///MISC
Fadey generally sticks in one area for prolonged periods of time. This is not abnormal, but it may be worth noting
said areas are always within proximity of water. This may be justifiable as water is, obviously, a requirement of life. However,
Fadey will reside in an area regardless if it has fresh water or salt water; as long as it has water. The significance of this trait lies in
the aforementioned issues her coat has in relation to water.

#/END

#Additional note:
Towards the beginning of this research I believed that Fadey's name was, indeed, Fadey. However, she has rapidly deterred any
questions regarding her name when asked. This is not at all the key focus of the research project, but if I can find some time
I will have to see why she needs to lie about this. Could it have a connection to her irritable nature?

Danke! I was unsure at first, but it really came together at the end. I will be adding a bit more sometime shortly. ^^
