Map failed to export?
« on: March 03, 2017, 03:00:35 am »
I recently made a few maps, but once I finished and tried to export them, an icon popped up saying "Failed to export map 'Mapname'"

I deleted duplicate particle files, but still received the same result. Although, I did delete an object file from my FeralHeart folder prior to this, could this be the issue?

If your map contains objects from the object group you deleted, then it can be an issue

Try deleting any particles in your map and re-exporting and see if it works

Or just try to re-export without changing anything. If FH freezes, do NOT click the screen!

I've done this before, actually.

It is probably because you might have deleted an object that was in your map you made and thus failed to export because it couldn't find the OBJ file.

Try doing what Kiki suggested, and let us know if it fixes!

i have had this when a material or object gets changed between saving the map and exporting it.
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"

Sorry for the late reply, but I was able to redownload the Object file, and then deleted all of the particles in my map which allowed me to export it, Thanks! :)
