It is likely then that the OpenGL rendering subsystem does not work for you. Did you have a preference of one or the other? If not then switching and sticking to Direct3D9 is your best bet here. If you do really want to use OpenGL, then I would attempt to reinstall the game entirely.

I've reinstalled everything already, removed all my files, deleted the program from the computer and even the folder, then added back in the map files, and preset files. It's strange that it didn't do this til lately, don't remember doing anything different. But, I do prefer OpenGL, that way if I am out of window I can still keep track of things, who knows what caused it. But either way, thank you for all your help, I'll keep trying :)

Perhaps look into seeing if there is a graphics driver update available for your video card or reinstall the current drivers you have. Depending on what brand of video card you have will determine what website you go to to look up your drivers.
