I've never really been in this situation myself, but maybe after exporting your preset you could place the .fhp in both the Presets and PrivatePresets folder to see if that changes anything. I'm unsure as I can't see it myself, but it does sound like your preset is automatically being deleted. I do have a couple of questions, though, that might help me understand further.
▸ Did you start having this trouble after updating the preset sync?
▸ When updating the preset sync, was it an update that the sync provided itself? (As in, it tells you that a new version is available and that you should update it)
▸ Or did you update the preset sync using a download Raz provided in Feb 2017? If related to the second question, then you might want to contact/report it to Raz in that case so he can investigate further. It is best to report it here, so people can see it publically and maybe confirm if they have the same issue. But only report this if it is in relation to the second question.
