Returning Player

Hi everyone, it's good to be back!

I played FeralHeart a few years ago, but since then, it's had a huge update and I'm feeling a little lost!

Don't get me wrong, I really like some of the new areas, and it's nice to see that they're so much bigger. But my main question is about how roleplaying works now. In the past, Bonfire Island and Fluorite Plains were areas where a lot of people would start RPs and "recruit" people, but now I don't see any of that going on. Am I meant to join an RP through the forums instead, which will get taken into the game? Or have I just logged on at a time when it's not particularly busy? (I'm usually online between 6pm-10pm UK time.)

There's a lot of recruiting in The Grounds. The group boards on the forum are for advertising, forum roleplay, and announcements for groups.

Welcome back to FeralHeart! If you're finding the maps confusing you can check out Buffy's Map Guide.
As for Roleplays, most recruiters are at the Grounds and the group is taken to any map, Lions are mostly in Seaside Grove, and the Wolves/Other species are else where, there are many different Roleplays you can find though, even some fantasy ones which are very interesting.

Welcome back to FeralHeart! As the others have said, The Grounds is the main roleplay recruitment and advertisement area. It's also where a lot of socialization takes place. I would stick around in the Grounds if you're looking for a new roleplay.
