Map Help? (Need more help. Please look at most recent reply on next page)

Alright. So I finally finished my map, everything exported alright and everything is showing up for me but in a previous experience with a map, a member of my pack said that there was a floating den in the sky (there was none in game or in the map maker.) And they said some map items weren't showing up for them. Is this because they don't have it downloaded? This confuses me because I had another pack that had map items I DID NOT have downloaded and I could see them fine. I am a little worried because I don't want some things to be all screwed up for other people. because this map took at least 3 days to make. The only meshes that are not FH are some trees. And one log from an item pack that the person said items weren't showing up from. Is this a issue on my part or is it the other person's mistake?

What exported files did you exactly give to your pack member?
As you'd need to give them the .fhp and .fho for them to see the map and objects.

I had given them the fhm. / fho. because that was the only thing that would get it to work. The thing that baffles me the most is the fact that a den was flying high in the sky when I did not put it there, and I checked and nothing was there. All the correct files were in their place

Could you ask your friend to send us a screenshot of what they're seeing?
It could make resolving the issue easier.

Sadly they left my pack a while ago and I don't have contact. They described perfectly what was going on, they showed me in the game where the den was supposed to be. If I am correct, it could be the den I downloaded because when I told them to come over it wasnt there. Same thing with some other items. They mostly just said they just aren't there. Did I need to include the files for those items too in the full download?

Ok. SO the old member from my pack who was still in was on but I asked around the map n stuff. There is a den missing that I downloaded I guess but nothing floating in the sky for them and a few others. SO I guess it was the downloader's fault when that other person saw that. I think this issue started happening once I re-uploaded the download onto mediafire and made it into a tiny.url. Still a little confused though.

Yes, if there were multiple sets of objects used (vtxTrees and vtxRocks for example would be two different .fho's) then you would need to include all the .fho files that were used by the map.

Now here's my next biggest problem. I cannot find the .fhm and .fho files for my map, And another problem is when I upload files to media fire I cannot get the folder to be a download page. Every time its individual files you have to download within the folder...

When you export a map, it will tell you all the individual files that are associated with it; these will all be found in your "exports" folder. To create a single download, take these files and put them into a .zip file. Then upload the zip file to Mediafire
