The staff do not have the source code, so unfortunately we cannot do anything to fix the game's stubbornness

If you made your own map, look inside your "particles" folder and delete any and all files ending in _0, _1, etc

As for finding your portal, it may be that the vanilla portal textures are nearly transparent so you may be missing them. Try downloading this:

Yeah there are still no portals not even my own, I knew it was not me just not seeing them, they are literally not even there
