Is there a chat log?

I like to keep track of what my characters remember, it's why I screenshot so much. If I forget something that I'm somehow sure my character has seen, then I look at the screenshots from when I think my character has seen it, then read the chat my character has seen and keep track of which character knows what(Gatha hears something in chat, but Gui didn't hear it and therefor Gui doesn't remember hearing it unless it was said in chat while Gui was active).

Is there a chat log? If not, is it possible to add a chat log? (An automatically-created text document with the chat automatically saved in it)

There is nothing like this, I'm afraid. You're gonna have to keep taking screenshots or manually type out notes yourself

And I doubt we could add an automatic chat log

I'll try out typing notes myself, I've never done that before, it sounds less harddrive-space-consuming!
