That's right folks- all you anime lovers out there- come on down and share your favorite anime series/genres with us! Start with the title of the comic or anime and a brief description of it (and why you like it).  I'm hoping this can be used as a reference for those of you looking for a new anime series to watch or manga to read. I'll start:
Baccano!
One of the few animes that sounds even better when dubbed in English- the voice acting/lingo is phenomenal.  This is a artistically portrayed story of several different people and how they are all connected.  This takes place during the 1930s in America and the story is divided into happenings on a train, in the streets of Newyork among bootlegging mafia, and on a ship 100 years ago.  The characters are unique and the style of the anime itself is beautiful and unique as well, it's confusing at first but episode by episode it all comes together to form a complete picture of a fantastic adventure. Jacuzzi Splott, and Isaac and Miriah are a hoot ^_^ I don't want to give TOO much away- so just go and watch Baccano! It's worth your time, trust me! WARNING: EXTREME GORE/BLOOD

No point even mentioning things about Wolf's Rain, I'm sure you all know about that XD
My second fave anime would probably be Kyo Kara Moah, very funny and a bit strange.
My fave manga is Inubaka at the moment, so many dogs O:

I had trouble getting into Inubaka simply because my local place to get manga is expensive and not good about having the latest volumes on time. x__x

Angel Beats - Angel Beats is a thirteen episode anime that follows the story of Otonashi, a character who wakes up in the afterlife with amnesia and is recruited into an organization fighting against "God". The main antagonist for the first half is "Angel", the student president, who develops her own unique weapons to fight the Battlefront. The story takes place in a massive boarding school, and has many "colorful" characters who were unable to live fulfilling lives.

Haha that sounds like an interesting story Sameth, I'll defineatly have to check it out sometime- and I've TOTALLY read inubaka- I loved seeing all the doggies too ^_^

  I prefer reading manga to watching Anime nowadays. My favorites are Naruto (Morons saying it isn't a proper manga/anime can get lost because you're ridiculous) One peice (Same here too) Cage of Eden (Gory and scary at times, be wary) 1/2 Prince (Epicly funny) And one other that is a very adult one so I'm not mentioning the name (It's not a 'you know what' manga, it's just the kind of thing that would be rated R in a movie cinema due to the extreme gore and violence and such.)

My favourite action/: Naruto
My favourite sad/drama: Wolf's Rain
Other: Fruits Basket (used to be my fave comedy, but it lost to Sgt. Frog)
