How do you convert particle effects to weather?
« on: June 03, 2018, 08:07:37 pm »
Hello! I've been working on this map for a while now, and I wanted to add in fireflies. However, unlike my fairy map Nimrine, I cannot seem to get enough fireflies. But too many particles means a VERY laggy map. So my friend Thierry suggested I turn the fireflies into a weather particle, but I have no idea how to convert the fireflies from just a particle to a weather particle. Can anyone help me with this?

Even if someone could just make the firefly weather for me, I would offer DevientART points for it. If not, someone please explain the difference in coding or something.

I did that :)
I can give you a hint, look how the rain weather works. A firefly weather would work the same!
If you cant figure it out, i can look up my old files and make a tutorial on that.
