Calm down, maxey. FH will now screw up your laptop, no matter what you do. If you want to be sure, and if you're really confused, why don't you just download the game AND the patch? It won't delete anything and it won't cause any harm. And all caps will NOT get you an answer any faster.

Well, when you export a map, everything goes into the exports folder. And you put your friend's maps in the exports folder. And you still put presets in the presets folder. Simple.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix the many error boxes that come up when I try to run the FHSetup.exe file under Downloads in the Torrent Window? Cause at the moment I have no idea what to do using Torrent. ;_;
I'd rather not just download it; I got virus from doing so once. D:

Thanks for the update, does this mean we'll have to re download all our maps again? After i got the new patch and everything was working, I ended up with only one of my old maps, so how do I get them all back? This might sound like a n00b question because I only recently discovered how to get and use maps.

Edit: Also, what if I had a character in a map I no longer have?

Yes i tried putting all the files in the export folder, but the portal did not show up.

I noticed there were some things from Feralistic in there. Should I install it again?

If the map is black when you log in, hit the home position and reset it to bonfire island. You just have to run all the way back to the cape. I'm still able to remove some of my characters from deleted maps.
