Bah Redstone is so confusing. I still don't know how to make an epic doorway, for now its just by pressure plates

Went to the Nether today.

First time round was utter failure, my portal sent me falling through mid air over a giant lava lake which lead to an unpleasant, slow, firey death. On top of that I had most of my tools and such with me + full suit of iron armour. SO they all got burned to a crisp.

After I restocked/built up my inventory, I dismantled the portal and moved it elsewhere.

Second time round was slightly better...slightly.



Off to the side a bit of a distance away was luckily another floating island that was much, much bigger. So I built a bridge and went exploring.

I chickened out though and set the difficulty to peaceful |D.

I'm not looking forward to collecting feathers again for arrows ergh.

Herro everyone. Some of you seem to be having a hard time finding diamonds.

Here is the method that most people use. Its the most effective way people have found so far to find the most diamond.
Its called Branch Mining. This is a really good tutorial for it.

You can ignore the stuff about cartographer if you don't want to 'cheat'. It basically is cheating, lol.

I've been debating on whether or not to do that, my problem is, is that when I'm digging down all the way to the bedrock sometimes I find an opening to a cave system |D and then get seriously side tracked exploring it XD

I want non despawning animals. So I can raise my icecream sheep flock already.

Ive heard farmcraft is really good for taming animals too, but it hasnt been updated in a while.

  Because of a recent update baby animals is a bit behind, but if you tame lambs, you give them cake and they grow up and don't despawn. It's a good little mod, very fun, but the baby animal noises can get am little annoying if you have too many hanging around (especially baby pigs...)

Yeah, I don't think any of the mods have updated to the newest versions yet. Then again I cant blame them. Notch has made like 6 new versions since 1.5
The modders are prolly waiting till notch is done updating for a while.
