Exporter Needed

I've got almost everything to start animating Feral Heart models! But I am missing one thing.. The exporter.. Does anyone have a working link of the exporter I can use so I can finally animate the models?

For FH animations, check this thread and this link to the OGRE exporter for Blender. The thread linked is by GoldChocobo on making FH animations, and should be useful for exporting them correctly. The exporter linked is from this thread on exporting WoW meshes (which applies for FH meshes in general).

Hopefully these links help you out! IN the WoW mesh tutorial, Bloo. has some helpful tools linked for use while working on meshes/anims for FH.

This is for Blender 2.49, right? If so, I can't seem to find any working exporter downloads anywhere. All the ones I've used in the past are dead links. :'o I'll look through my files and see if I can find my copy of the exporter for ya.

In the meantime, I've managed to track down a working converter for the Blender 2.79.
I can't say for sure how well it'll handle exporting animations since I haven't gotten to test that yet, but it seems to work perfectly fine for meshes. ^^" If you're interested, give the "required software" section of this guide a look.  https://docs.rigsofrods.org/tools-tutorials/blender-mesh-editing/

There should be instructions on how to install it on that same page, under "installing blender plugins," if I'm not mistaken. ^^

Oh darn I already downloaded the 2.79 stuff ._.
But good news  I was able to get everything I needed for the 2.79 one! Now, how do I import the FH models..?

Sadly I've never been able to figure out how to import any FH models into blender. That shouldn't be a problem though, since you don't need to use those to animate anyway. ^^

You'll just need the .blend files, which are found here.

These files come with everything except the wing skeletons/meshes. They're also missing a few animations (the dances, I think?). As long as you add those in manually to prevent in-game crashing when using those emotes, you should be fine.
