Please help - installing the latest game patch

Hello, I am trying to play FH after not playing for a long time. When i try to install the 1.17a patch it gives me several error messages saying 'the code execution cannot proceed because  libcurl.dll (and several other things)  was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem' however I deleted FH off my computer and reinstalled it only to get the same issue, and I cannot play the game without the newest patch. Please help me! I really want to get back onto FH. I'm gonna keep messing with it and hopefully I can figure it out, will post again here if I do.

if you are trying to open the game without replacing the old exe from the FH folder that is what you get. Did you replace the patch with the old exe?

In this case it depends if they replaced the exe file because when you try to open the exe file of the 1.17 file without replacing it with the old one, those messages will appear.
