In Game Chat puncuation troubles?

This one might need a bit of explaining.

So, this used to not be an issue for me. But in the game chat, for some reason I am unable to use puncuation like '' or ^^ which can be quite frustrating. The UI I'm using is like this:



Would this be a factor? Please let me know!

UI shouldn't be the issue here.
Try looking through the in-game settings and seeing what's set up, but if that's not the issue then perhaps try switching your keyboard. i.e from a US keyboard to a UK keyboard so the keybinds change. I've always found that to help.

Unfortunately neither seemed to do the trick. In-game settings don't show anything related to the issue, and my keyboard setting was already defaulted to what you suggested. Really not sure what to do on this one.

I've encountered this issue in the past but cannot recall what fixed it. Perhaps try changing your rendering system in the game's settings.
