Klipp had been one of the dogs that had escaped the lab, but hadn't stuck around to be there for the fight that had followed, though she had heard it. And smelled it. A few minutes ago, she heard several cries from a pup while she was rumaging through a few boxes. The cries had made her wince; she hated it when pups cried. It drew a sound from her throat: a low whine. She stopped what she had been doing, and began trotting toward where the sound had come from. She took the back way away from humans. She remembered the good days with people, but the torture from the scientists was far more recent, and she was afraid. Hearing sounds from an alley, she slowed her trot and creeped toward the alleyway, and peaked her head around the corner. There were other dogs there, which forced her tail to wag as she lost her fear and walked toward the others, her head lowered in a natural pose. Immediately though, she saw the pup that had produced those horrible cries. Her tail lowered and stopped wagging, and a small whine of concern escaped her throat. "What happened to her?" she asked, worry showing plainly in her whole frame as she sat down.
