We consist of over-all realistic lion designs. Our ranking system is not a replica of an actual pride categorization, but we try to manage it in at least a semi-realistic way. Our Pride is led by the King and Queen- Vulcan and his mate Monevi. They currently have two cubs, Jua and Obediah, and a hard-working pride that keeps the pair on their feet.
We try to be as carefree as possible, but however, we do have a few instructions...
:..RULES..:
1. - LITERACY
. Literacy must be a minimum of Semi-Literate. You don't have to use the fanciest-schmanciest words out there, but we'd like you to get the point across one way or another. Post sizes don't have to be big-- generally a minimum of two sentences, or one long sentence at the least. Try to keep them between 3-5 sentences-- it's alright to exceed that limit. (: Chatspeak isn't allowed IC, but OOC, it's fine... as long as it isn't totally obscure
2. - CHARACTER DESIGNS
Slightly unrealistic markings are okay such as the colors of those markings are realistic. We do accept color mutations, and we aren't very strict on eye color. (: Along with this rule, your character is allowed to be as fat or skinny as you want it-- however, if you're going to make it super strong, it has to me lacking in some categories. If we've learned anything from Hannah Montana, it's that Nobody's Perfect. (:
3. - NO GOD-MODING OR POWER PLAYING
Pretty self explanatory. If you're a beginner, we'll give you a few shots to get it right, but if it's a repeated offense, you're out.
4. - RESPECT ONE ANOTHER
Also explains itself. Please, guys, we're a family here. Try to get along (:
5. - KEEP AN OPEN MIND
That's a very important rule here. Even if you dont fully agree with something, try to stay open-minded in order to make everyone happy. For example, you may not feel gay or lesbian orientation is alright, but if someone or someone's character chooses to be that way, please do not degrade them.
6. - MISTAKES
There isn't a need to pick out every mistake somebody makes, however, for me, it would be helpful if you inform me of any typos you see on the site so I may fix them. The only thing you can't point out is that I've ended almost every rule with a "
" or " (: " smiley. XD
THE RANKS:
King: head of the Pride, alongside the Queen. usually over -rules his mate, but it depends on the mated pair. Makes decisions for the Pride and assigns cubs to ranks once they become fledglings.
Queen: Mate of the King, has over-all the same job except watches over the hunting and nursery.
Heirs: The children of the King and Queen, eldest male will obtain his throne once he is old enough. This action, however, can be over-ruled by the Queen, but generally isn't the case. If the King dies while the Queen is still alive, they usually retire to the Chamber, and are held at high respect.
Duke: The "deputy" like figures of the pride, a position held by up to three males. They look over everything the King and Queen do not. If the King and Queen die, leaving behind no heirs or heirs too young to rule, one Duke will take over.
Medics: Provide the group with herbs and skills used in the field of medicine. Three at a time-- can be male or female.
Bodyguard: A Bodyguard is appointed to watch over each heir cub. They are selected individually by the King and Queen, and can be male or female.
Fighters: Multiple exist at the time. Protect the pride in combat, and when there is nothing to do, they patrol the Pride's territory. Typically males, though strong enough females exist in this rank.
Hunters: Catch prey for the Pride to eat. These are usually females, but males may exist in this rank if there is a low amount.
Shoresmen: This rank is usually given out to subtle, intelligent lions. They patrol the riverbanks for fish, intruders, floods, or anything of the sort. They provide the Pride with security and fish- yummy!
Fledgling: The trainees, which are cubs that are 7 months old at a minimum. The King gives them their selected coruse in which they train for-- They are assigned mentors.
Mother: Self explanatory-- take care of their own kits in the nursery, however they do help out. Some females decide to stay in the nursery and work as Mothers.
Elder: The eldest and retired members of the Pride, they have escaped the odds and beaten death through their career, and now are given time to rest.
Chamber: Elders who provided the Pride with wisdom can join the Chamber. They give the King advice and communicate to the ancestors of the lions.

THE TERRITORYSTOPH CANYON- A very large, mostly barren canyon, however The Stoph Canyon Pride currently dwells in one of the smallest part of it. Their camp rests on the Eastern side on Muqtada's River, which is the river that runs through this canyon. The Eastern side is mainly grassy, with plants and Acacia trees scattered around. The other side, however, are The Stones-- a dusty, rocky place filled with jagged rocks and deadly snakes. Lions are suggested strongly to not venture there, however it can be used as punishment to a fledgling who really acts up... The rest of the land is out of the canyon, and filled with random stone creations-- a majority of these are rest stops for patrolling Fighters.
THE DUNGEONS- A small, mostly livable cavern underground where the Stoph Canyon Pride keeps their prisoners locked up. It is filled with shallow groundwater, thick vines, and large patches of moss and other plant material. Food is scarce, except for the few bugs or rats down there, however a fledgling (a fledgling who has received punishment, of course) is required to bring food to the prisoners. These fledglings, however, are normally shadowed by a Duke from a few meters away, just to make sure nothing bad happens.
