Getting codes into the preset material file- How?
« on: July 05, 2011, 06:48:09 pm »
Yeah, so I'm trying to make a preset with a transparent part in the tail. And apparently you're supposed to put the code in the material file by pasting it in. I have to code, but I don't know how to get it in the file with the rest of the code... does anyone know how?

You'd put it in the presets .material file. Look in the folder of whichever preset # you are using.

Go to your preset's folder, and open it's .material file in notepad, then paste the transparent code in.

I did. But then it saves it as a word document instead of a .material file.

You sure? Sometimes after opening it in notepad, the icon gets changed to a:

But if you put your mouse over it, it should still say material file.
