Just a quick little map created to be the host land of a pride one of my chars is in, but created with enough room for other groups to move in
The land itself is quite expansive, with a body of water at the centre and a few public areas.
It was created for practicality and to be a semi-realistic savannah type place suitable for lions.
THE GUIDEThis here is a basic map of the Dunes, complete with an approximation of how territories and such would lie:
- In the orange zone, there is a mountain ridge, with a pair of sizable dens worked into the mountains' crevices. It is secluded and hidden away, with access to the watering hole.
- Just below, drawn in grey, are the Ruins where the portal to the Cape can be found. This is the point from which everyone enters and exits the map.
- In the bottom right corner, in the green zone, is the Sky Window - a gathering place for any and all within the lands. Here there is an unspoken truce between even rival factions.
- Just above the 'Window' is a small, craggy mountain with 2 small dens beside it. A place for travellers and those without prides.
- In the top-right corner of the map, in the green zone, we have the hunting grounds, complete with a herd of zebra.
- And finally at the bottom left corner, in the blue zone, there lies the home of the host pride. There are 7 dens in total, with the long cave in the centre being the exclusive den of the royal family.
