Phoenix smiled sweetly, she perked her ears as she heard the quickening sound of the rain. It sounded like rain pelting a window. Then she heard something else, the creaking of wood. Then all of a sudden there was a crack and water spilled into the basement. The ground quickly turned to mud. "Ugh!" She barked, quickly getting to her muddy paws, but slipping and falling onto her side with a splash of mud.
