Fusion growled in frustration, glancing ahead at the den they were heading towards. She put Haru down, "It's only a few strides away, go now!" As Haru did as he was told, Fusion looked down and sighed at Phoenix, blinking the rain out of her eyes. She roughly bit down into Phoenix's neck, making sure she had a firm hold and dragged her into the den. Fusion let go of Phoenix and shook off the water that had been pelting her. She sat down with a huff and started to work the mud out of her fur with her tongue.

when all of them came to the den Ayame pressed a paw on the wall, a opening in the cave opened and showed a large, spacious, and beautiful cavern. "get inside there, you would be safer it the water goes any farther!" she barked, lighting a stick on fire and bringing it in with her, only to light a small fireplace like rock circle on fire and the crystals on the wall alumanated, they had both light, warmth and food ayame had killed before.

Fusion
She sighed, her face dead-panned. Fusion took hold of Phoenix's scruff once again, shaking her gently, somehow relieving the annoying feeling buillding up inside her. She gave Haru an irritated glare, and almost like he had read her mind, he scurried inside the cavern, Fusion dragging Phoenix close behind. She better wake up soon... I might accidentally snap her neck in half. She thought, but knowing she probably wouldn't. She was wet, tired, and overall annoyed to death. Fusion dropped the blonde wolf again, licking her chops and settling down for some of the food that Ayame had killed.

Phoenix

Phoenix's sides rose and fell in a steady rhythm. She could feel her blonde fur pressed down by mud and gunk. Her head ached miserably, she felt like a water balloon being thrown around and not popping. Her  eyes open slightly, but she couldn't see a thing. Only blobs of everyone and everything, eventually it all went dark. She started coughing and sputtering. Water pouring from her muzzle. Her eyes where still slightly opened, she didn't know Fusion and the others where here. For she couldn't see anything but darkness. She continued to cough up water, her sides heaving.

(She's not permanently blind btw)

Ayame jumped as phoenix started coughing, and she raced over. "phoenix you ok?" she asked, a worried tone in her voice. her tail flicked in concern and paranoia, the feared the water would flood and they would be stuck in this cave to die. she stamped her foot and told herself. "NO one is going to die" and sniffed the length of phoenix's body. "she'll be fine, she just needs rest, her body will take care of getting the water out"

"Where are you?" She coughed. She kept blinking but couldn't see a thing. "Why can't I see?" She cryed.

Suddenly a voice that sounded oddly motherly for Fusion was replaced by her usual one. She licked the blood off of her muzzle and sat down next to Phoenix, bending her head down. "It's okay, were right here. All of us." Fusion crooned, "Relax and take it easy, the sooner you do, the sooner everything'll be back to normal, mmk?" Noticing how she was talking to Phoenix, Fusion abruptly moved her head away from Phoenix's ear, taking on her usual voice, but still having a concerned expression. "Ayame's right. You just need rest." She snorted and flicked her cat-tail, looking off into the distance, hoping no one noticed how she was just acting.
