Fusion
A blissful smile graced her muzzle, her eyes slowly fading white. Fusion didn't know if it was good or bad that Haru was not here to witness her death, but the promises that were made touched her heart. "Thank you, all of you..." With the last of her strength, she rolled onto her back, something bright blurry orange invading her sight. The sun. She smiled, if she wasn't already, it was brighter. "Let's meet again, shall we?..." Fusion uttered her last words, not asking anyone in particular, before her eyes closed and faded into darkness. She slipped into unconsciousness. Forever.
Haru
The young pup panted, dropping the metal gun to the ground. Blood was in the air, but he couldn't distinguish whose blood it was. Two howls resounded mysteriously through the forest, both sorrowful and familiar. Haru knee them as Ozion and Phoenix's voices. What was wrong? He started to walk back, slowly, a bit reluctantly, to see what was going on.
