Considering that Feral Neighborhood is active daily, I think a server focusing on oFH wouldn't do too bad, either. I know there was some other server a while back that just kinda died off from inactivity, but as long as the server is moderated well and has enough happening to keep it alive, it should go well!

Personally I wouldn't mind joining another FH-related server!

I didn't realize this was a help thread and not a discussion thread asfjkjkf my bad! But I guess it's just all about the cartoony exaggeration to match with the rest of the artstyle, but like half of them do look oddly evil for no reason

I swear there was some sort of emote revamp out there somewhere that dialed some of them down but I can't seem to find it, I could totally be making that up tho. The emotes are definitely just one of Feralheart's little quirks xP

I get what you mean, honestly none of the FH emotes know subtlety in the slightest

I'm not familiar with Fanlore but that's a pretty solid start so far! I would recommend maybe reaching out to some of the users who were quoted first, I'm aware some might not be comfortable with their statements being directly used like that. Plus some events can be explained very differently depending on who you ask so I'd recommend trying to get the full scope of things.

Seems the recent issues were covered thoroughly but I'll list a couple other situations and give a quick hopefully unbiased synopsis. (some posts might be broken but I'll send the major links):
- Removal of general chat - One of the major chats that was visible throughout the entire map and often used for advertising was removed, causing major backlash. (X)
- Hacking incident - There was a situation involving 'hackers' taking control of accounts, I'm not sure if this was a serious threat or more of a trolling thing, but this led to the implementation of the login page which has to be open on the player's browser if they wish to play FH. (X, X)
- Buttswing - Minor in comparison to other events, but Buttswing was one of the actions/animations players could do alongside other dance moves. This caused issues with players performing this action on top of other players, particularly ones whose characters were laying down, as it mimicked inappropriate behavior not really suitable for a game generally aimed at kids/tweens. I don't have any links but this action was replaced in one of the newest updates.
- No Mod October - Genuinely not sure how much I'm allowed to say on this topic... but the thread is public. (X, X)
- The Update #1 - For the first time in forever, FH was given an update! This was before any access to the source code, but it was a major event to see a game we previoiusly thought was gonna remain the same forever get some sort of update. (X)
- The Update #2 - The source code was acquired, much to the shock of pretty much everybody. (X)
(If anyone smarter than me wants to correct any of that go ahead i have bad memory)

I guess it's worth mentioning Feralheart has a lot of frequent events, in the past there were the Monthly Preset Contests, every so often the Movie Nights and Official Feralheart Radio events are held. There's also MOTS (Member of the Season) held seasonally to choose three members of the community that seemed outstanding in some way.

The News Archives is a good place to find info on events. Threads in the Game/Forum Discussion boards might not be as relevant of issues.

I believe these are a reasonable list of demands. Have you been following the situation that has happened? Because it's not entirely baseless.

Probably because of accidentally keeping a tab open for a few days multiple times but I do just check the forum habitually, and I used to be a youngling with no responsibilities who was pretty obsessed with the game so I just was ATTACHED, though I still think these numbers are way too high for how much I feel I'm on here

Not too long ago Raz had explained why it was removed and why we will not be making a new one. Before, when Sura gave her answer, that is all we knew at the time. Once we knew the answer Ressy explained it for you all.

Ah I see, that's more understandable, thanks for the clarification. I don't know the timeframe of when the original thread by xSpirit was deleted, but was there any discussion about deleting it at the time, or is the past few days the first time the reasoning has been brought up at all?

There weren't alternate accounts. You're right, there's no need for "alternate accounts to build a narrative"... that's why there weren't. There's plenty of reasons people's ips would overlap. It's very disappointing to see a staff member cling to such an assumptive story enough to post it publicly on the forum and basically soft-doxx someone??

Even if it were the case, it doesn't change the question. Could have just answered what you knew about it and left it at that.

Genuine question, did you actually receive death threats? I see a couple silly posts and maybe some mean jabbing at the staff but I don't see anything that could be constructed as a death threat, and I did not see anyone from anyone on Discord with that intent. Did you receive these over PM's or something? Death threats aren't an allegation to throw around lightly, so I'm curious if that's true or just an exaggeration. If it's true I do apologize, I don't think that's acceptable behavior from either end.

It’s like some don’t read or pretend not to read so that they can continue things. An answer was given, but the moment people see an opportunity for drama they enter a state of blind rage and press on. Then some feel the need to troll or leave unnecessary comments or inbox messages. Even telling staff to kill them selves... Exactly how is that behavior any better? It totally contradicts the conversation.

Admittedly it took me a hot second to find the sentence saying Raz deleted it, it was a bit overshadowed by the weird big doxxing screenshots :/ I think people genuinely just didn't see it.. not sure why this random user got thrown under the bus for that. People skimming posts isn't too surprising. Annoying, sure, but it's not usually malicious.

I don't think anyone has an issue with the answer and solution... there's quite clearly something else that happened there. I won't deny some users were just stirring up trouble for the lolz but there was a lot of issue with how you accused Birdie, and coincidentally there was a ban wave of users who posted on this thread or were connected to FHU, with no reason given.

Had the topic been left at "Raz deleted it and we don't know why, we'll remake it", of course there would still be issue with that statement, but I don't think the fault would fall directly towards staff. It's the accusations and banning that were causing this unrest.

"We don't know why it was deleted"/"It will be remade" vs "There was reason to delete it"/"It won't be remade"? Is it just new information just being learned rn or a lack of communication or?
