 Here is a discussion just for a little fun and imagination. Imagine if you had to create your character and start as either a pup or cub each time you created a new character. You could not simply start a game as an adult but rather you had to develop your character's skills to grow. Imagine if everyone in game could be your potential enemy and had the ability to kill you, even the environment itself. Perhaps you'd fall and break a limb or contract a disease. Maybe the prey you were chasing could injure or even kill you. Perhaps the lack of food would weaken you until you eventually die of starvation. Or maybe out of desperation you ate something that was poisonous or toxic. Basically the game would be a free for all.

What if you had the choice to group with friends to form prides or packs to boast your ability to defend, hunt, and survive? Or maybe you could be a loner hiding and fighting in the shadows to survive. Who would you be? What species would you side with?

What if territory claiming became a key aspect for survival? Perhaps some territories have better hiding places and or food supplies and it's worth you fighting for.

Perhaps as your character ages they would gain more experience and the more victories they had the more powerful they would become and the better advantage you'd have at survival. But as your character ages you grow closer to a natural death. How would you feel if your character died and you'd have to start over again? Perhaps if there was an ability to have and play as your own offspring you'd be able to pass on some experience to them and therefore if you main character died you could simply switch to your own offspring and continue from there.

Though I can imagine the chaos that would start from people going on killing sprees etc I want to hear all your thoughts on this xD Maybe other ideas or just stuff you want to share about this. Would you keep playing? How would this effect rping etc?

At one point or another we've had some of our beloved staff team members leave the team for various reasons. Often times it's sad to have to see such loyal familiar faces go and so I've decided to create this topic to remember some of our favorite moments or just general things about some of the old staffy.

 Maybe they were a friend to some of you or perhaps they gave you some tremendously helpful advice etc. Perhaps they were a snuggle buddy or they offered comfort when you were down. Whatever it was that made them memorable to you here's the place to share some of those good thoughts ^^

Keep in mind that this is for old/retired staff not the current ones lol. Please keep the responses friendly as well.

(I wouldn't consider this so much as a praise thread but rather a discussion about them and what we miss, memories, and or what we liked about them etc)

For me I started most of my forum activity around the time when WolfFox, Crin, Delay, Sameth, Big Skippy, Tigg, Ramine, and Kyugima were still moderators/admin. I miss many of them since I got to know some of them as friends in game and they often helped me with issues I had. Though I didn't get to know some of them as well as others I loved them all as a whole <3 They were a really cool group especially since they all were really close and seemed more like a big family than anything else.

Now for specifics:

WolfFox: She was probably one of the first staffy that I really got to know. She was always super bubbly and friendly and never shy to jump up and greet someone. I loved her personality so much :3 She was like the awesome silly sweet party girl of the group. Whenever I had an issue in game she was one of the first to offer assistance. She was also always there for a friendly snuggle or chat. She had some pretty cute characters too <3

Ramine: To me she is a lot like our current Genny ;3 She was often very shy and kept to herself or her close friends but she was a sweet heart nonetheless and very helpful to all and friendly to anyone who approached her. Some users are afraid to approach staffy but with Ramine there was no need for that because she was just so sweet <3

BigSkippy: Though I didn't get to know him as much as the others he was pretty awesome. Best way to describe him was just that cool but also goofy guy. He was always very friendly and out going but a very stern enforcing of the rules. To me he was like the big brotherish guy on the staffy team. He always had your back and knew what to do. Let's also not forget his awesome accent lol.

Kyugima: Again just a sweet person all around. She and I had some good debates almost arguments in some Game Discussion threads back when I was a "new comer" xD. She always knew how to handle a gritty situation on site without letting anger get the best of her. She also helped me a good number of times when I had problems with my game.

All in all I miss the closeness of this particular group of staffy. It was because of them that I was able to get as familiar and comfortable within the community as I am now. They also gave me a great deal of laughs back when they streamed Minecraft play throughs, hosted the official party events, and did podcast. There's a lot that can be said but I can sum it up by saying I miss them and love them <3

I hope your special day is a very enjoyable one. I've been lucky to have met such a special friend like you on here. You are one of my oldest friends on Feral Heart and you've helped me with so many things not to mention so many other floofies you've help in your time here. You are one of the sweetest people I know and a really genuinely awesome person. Thanks for everything buddy but most especially for being a great friend <3. I hope you party hard and have many good laughs today. Best wishes you puffy mini loin.

For me I have to say this was probably my favorite Summer Party so far. Last years was fun but I wasn't able to have nearly as much fun then as I did at this event.

For starters it was pretty exciting to join in on my first official podcast with the other staffy. It was very fun to laugh and share thoughts about Feral Heart and the community with you all over the livestream. I admit I was a little nervous about it at first but it's always reassuring when you  have such a supportive crew to work with and a very friendly easy going audience lol.

As for the party itself it was nice to see some familiar old faces with some of the retired staffies making appearances and even getting to meet so many members I've see on the site. It's always nice to see everyone opening up and being silly together.

I think my favorite part of the event though was the little after party that we held. It was really entertaining to be able to play so many fun and crazy games with everyone and I'm happy to see everyone participating and having a good time. I also really enjoyed just spending time with some of my beloved friends again since it's been a while since we've all just spent some fun time together.

 Shout out to Flobby for making such a fantastic map too. Thanks to her design I was able to come up with so many fun games xD.

I hope you guys had a great time. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon enough at our next event in the near future!

After years of using the same preset of Lord Suragaha I finally decided that today was the day to give Sura a bit of a makeover and so I recreated his entire preset from scratch. When Sura was originally brought to life through his first preset some years ago I was very frustrated that the texture darkened most of his colors. My friends often joked that it was due to his time in the war that he became so dirty looking and for a while it amused me and I decided to keep the look, however after many years of preset making I've learned some new things and decided to bring Sura's true colors out.

Sometimes a little change is refreshing. I had many wonderful fond times in the old presets but I figured it was time to try my hand at recreating Sura with a few of my new found skills. Though I kept most of his appearance the same I did change his markings slighty.

And so here is the final product. A clean non dusty Surabutt next to his old self:

After using Sura's old preset version for so long though it feels weird to see him so brightly colored and different looking now. I figured I'd ask you guys what you think of Sura's old/new presets.
