Game Help / Re: Trouble viewing objects in a map
« on: May 28, 2017, 03:43:39 pm »

No, I didn't save the rock mesh into a new group. But, I didn't go to object maker or do anything to the default rock mesh, and what I mean by "den" is that I just stacked rocks (rocks in the default "MyRocks" group)  atop of another, not a specific den mesh - just in case I am sounding confusing.

I gotcha! So, were you simply taking the pre-existing rock meshes (in the MyRocks) group and putting them into the map?
(my apologizes for the late reply) I'm really sorry I put you guys through all this trouble but, it turns out the rock mesh they weren't able to see was not a default mesh. It was simply a den with the same exact texture as the default... I discovered this by going through the .fho files in the zip file and not being able to see the "MyRocks" group. Should I just remove that den from the map with the default to remove any further problems?

I would double check and make sure that you exported everything correctly and there were no errors of any sorts that you may have missed during the export.
It can happen! I've had this problem with a pack before in my time here and I believe I re-exported and made sure ALL of the meshes went into the ZIP I uploaded.

Please let me or Nynx know if this had worked! <3

Alright, I can check in a moment - thanks!.
I don't believe there are any additional objects added to the default mesh group though. But if that were the case, why would some users be able to see the mesh and not others?
There are multiple Default object groups (to name a few, MyTrees, MyRocks, Default, MyPlants); if you've saved any of your meshes to those groups, then people will have difficulty viewing them. You're able to view the mesh because you have the file and folder, but nobody else will have the file to that object if it's in a default group; everyone has the default groups, but because their default group will not match yours, this can cause a problem. If you're unsure about where you might have saved a mesh, when you added the rock den object into the game, did you save it into a brand new group? Were you able to export the mesh through the Object Maker? You will have to replace the old mesh with the newly exported mesh into your map, as well.

Be sure your friends are "replacing" (instead of skipping) any files they receive, as well, and that they are placing the majority of the files into their Feralheart >> exports folder (any .fho, .fhm., fhs., and .fhw files should be placed there).

I recently made a map for a group and many members are complaining that they aren't able to see the rock dens within the map, though I am able to... I am unsure as to how I would fix their problem as the objects they can't view are the feral heart default rock objects.

Rebels Reign is a project started by @thedragongirl88, and worked on heavily by myself and many other members within the -work in progress- group. The group will be completely finished by June 1st, and all are welcome to join! Activity will start on June 1st as well! We are:

literate
long-term
plotted
mapped
sited
semi-realistic to realistic
Multi-species

Instead of excluding the group to just gray wolves, we decided to take a twist and permit all 35 species of canine (listed on the site).
We also decided to spice the role play up a bit with the occasional angel or demon along with adding a healer branch to the pack. For more information on the pack visit our site provided previously and if you are interested in joining post a member application on this thread: http://rebelsreign.proboards.com/thread/22/reply-sign

As the title reads, we are in need of a beta for the pack as they are a vital position of the pack and in many ceremonies it as well. If you are interested in becoming beta and you ARE ALREADY applied as a member, post under this thread to apply for beta: http://rebelsreign.proboards.com/thread/75/high-fang-beta
You cannot apply for beta without knowing the general rules, traditions, and other basic information. You will also be expected to be slightly more active than the average member!

Thank you! :)

Game Help / Re: Map failed to export?

If your map contains objects from the object group you deleted, then it can be an issue

Try deleting any particles in your map and re-exporting and see if it works

Or just try to re-export without changing anything. If FH freezes, do NOT click the screen!

Sorry for the late reply, but I was able to redownload the Object file, and then deleted all of the particles in my map which allowed me to export it, Thanks! :)

Game Help / Map failed to export?
« on: March 03, 2017, 03:00:35 am »
I recently made a few maps, but once I finished and tried to export them, an icon popped up saying "Failed to export map 'Mapname'"

I deleted duplicate particle files, but still received the same result. Although, I did delete an object file from my FeralHeart folder prior to this, could this be the issue?

Game Help / Re: Bad Token on private map

Before anything else, did they try multiple times to get into the map and it kept on popping up? Or was it just one time for each of them?

Sometimes it takes a few tries to get in. Hopefully it's something simple like this, so your friends can hang out with you on your new map soon.

There are some times when it works on the first try, but for some of them, it takes them a few tries to actually get into the map which can get annoying. And my map does have many meshes placed around, so like you said, this could be the problem.

Game Help / Bad Token on private map
« on: January 07, 2017, 06:43:14 pm »
I recently just finished making a map for a group I am in, but as soon as I shared it with others there were issues getting into the map from Cape. "Bad Token" kept popping up on their screen, why is this happening to them?
