I play as a male a lot of the time, though I have both male and female characters. I dont find it weird or am i weird? lol
Anyway yeah, i play as a male at times, and ive never had anyone saying its strange or kicking me out of rps :/

I too have the proclivity to play male characters, opposite of my own gender. Characters are characters and it shouldn't matter what their gender is depending on their creators'. You never hear of novelists or other writers being bashed because their main characters- or even minor characters, for that matter- do not share the same gender.

I don't really mind if people RP with a different gender. Thought it's a little more awkward when it's a guy RP'ing as a girl. I know this because I've tried. LOL

Other than that I doubt it matters at all.

Though it's completely awkawrd when you're rp'ing and you say "she" and they're like "no I'm a dude." or "I'm a chick..."
Then you kind of feel like a jerk.

I have one particular vain-selfish male char of mine who thinks he's hot (and he is a very pretty lion) but I'd never find him that way myself. XD

I am a male and I play as a male but I have no problem with people that are female and play as male and vise versa. I don't understand what the problem is, unless you are trying to lie about it or something? Even then its not that big of a deal.

Exactly. xD I don't think the fact that you're rp'ing with a different gender matters at all, really. As long as you're not lying about your real one.

I mean, I'm going to be compleatly honest here, I'm gay, and I've been kicked out of groups for that before on FH. It's very upsetting that these things happen. I mean, sometimes I even play female characters sometimes because I come up with an interesting one. -Sigh- It's a touchy subject sometimes, but people need to understand that it's called 'rolplay' for a reason. It has nothing to do with the actual person, because there potraying a certain character who often times isn't anything like them.
