((Oh bleh, good luck Nuclear o.o
Hate that time of year haha.))
Karma gave a small smile of approvement to Vanth, though she could still see that the demonic female was still fighting off her feelings of guilt and confusion. Seeing everyone around behave in such a way somehow pained her heart, she didn't want them to remain so but words could only do so much. What she did know, though, was if she got everyone to move forward instead of sitting in their own woe, they would have a better chance of being cheered and regain their confidence.
"No, we won't kill them," she answered Cross. "We're in no condition to fight, at least not yet. Thirteen?" Karma glanced around the area until her eyes found the little feline. "What are your plans now? I won't blame you if you wish to leave us and tell Mother there was some mistake, and that you wish to find others, but if you'll still have us I believe we all would be willing to follow."
Here Karma's eyes drifted toward Xander, where they remained. Still they hid true thoughts that ran through Karma's mind, and it seemed even obvious they were trying hard to hide something, but one message did seem clear enough, just a simple: please? "Right.... Xander?"

"Me?" Dusk asked, a slight twitch at the corner of his lips showing he was trying hard to avoid grinning, for Lorcan was completely serious. "I appreciate that compliment, really I do, but I don't think that's something that fits my category. I may even make it worse."
Storm irises became distant as Xander's words suddenly echoed in his mind: "You know Dusk, you have quite a cruel and sharp tongue."
Releasing a sigh, Dusk's gaze returned to the frozen sun. Did those words hurt him? No, not really. Truth sometimes was a cruel thing, and because of that people often times avoid looking directly at it because they didn't want it to be true. They believe if they don't see or hear it, it can't possibly exist. But that wasn't the case. It was still there, lurking in the back of everyone's minds. Dusk wasn't that way, he looked it full in the face and spoke it aloud, for he believed if you acknowledged it and face it, then something really could be done about it. Karma was the same way, she was just more gentle about the subject.
"I think you should be the one to talk to her," he broke the silence. "She'd be more comfortable around you. Hell, you don't even have to talk. Just let her know you're there for her, that's all anyone really wants, at least that's what I think."
