  "Uhhh..." Feather said. She felt very submissive, and began to submiss to the big animal. The sun was blocking out the rest of the animal, casting a shadow over the figures face and torso. Feather gulpped willingly, hopping she wouldn't be forced into any more submission.

"I'm Riley."  -She said and looked at the ground below them.-  "What were you thinking?  Did you not see that dead wolf there?  There are killers out there that will attack without a second thought."  -Riley stood up and shook the dirt from her fur then laid back down and looked over at the maned wolf.-

   "I did, but I'm new to the city. I was really supposed to be in a new zoo, but the truck went... off the road." Feather said nervously, still in submission.

"No need to submit."  -Riley sighed.-  "I didn't catch your name."  -She acknowledged the maned wolf.  Below, she watched as another lost dog wandered along the streets.  A big, black wolf suddenly appeared and attacked the dog.-  "Poor pup."  -Riley whispered and shook her head.-

"Ok well Feather.  Do what you want, but I'm a loner.  Always have been.  Never a alpha, never a part of a pack.  I'm thunk of as the one who should submit to others."  -Riley sighs and shakes her head.-  "Alpha's nowadays.  All they want is power and care nothing about the pack."

  She heard and thought about Riley's words and how she spoke them. She felt safer, so she stopped her submission, slowly.

-Riley raised her head to her sky, but stopped her howl short.-  "Ahh, I forget sometimes.  I'll get them.  That way they won't hurt nobody else."  -Just then her stomach growled.  She looked around and jumped from the roof.  She walked over to a tipped trash can and dug through it.  She found a couple chicken bones, a banana peel, and other junk like newspapers, mail, and the regular human trash.  She took the chicken bones and banana peel and jumped back on the roof.-  "Well, you gotta do what you can to survive.  You hungry?"  -Riley bit into one of the dried up chicken bones and pushed the others to Feather.-
