If its okay with you I'd like to start Hiari in the outlands with Kovu. And if you aren't already doing the outlands map I can do it. Oh, and we should all make special presets for just us to see when we RP in-game. That would be awesomenesssssss....

I don't know how to build presets, but I'm sure I could learn at some point... a little swamped with work, but building the outlands atm. The outside will be boring but the cave will be pretty sweet. The only limitation is the use of heightmaps... I hate them because you can't have multiple floors to anything, unless you do some really, really fancy stuff with the object builder. :\

EDIT: Spirits, I think you missed something; when I tried to open the pridelands in map editor so I could make a portal between the pridelands and the outlands, it tells me I'm missing a .cgf file; can you send me all the related files to the map when and after you made it, besides the .map and .fhz files? Just email them directly to me, it saves waaaay more time than downloading off a different site. Thanks!

Linda, apply for the group on FH/add me as a friend, please hard to talk to you and RP with you (when you're online) if you're basically invisible to the entire group...

Also, apparently, the forums are definately not the place for us to RP, since we have more important things like map making to discuss; btw, at about 2:30 - 3:30, I'll try to be online every day at some point for a little while, so that everyone can RP; this is probably the best time for all of the members since we have some in the UK, and some on the west coast, and some on the east coast; east coast noobs (joke lol) will have a hard time with this due to dinner, sorry, but it's the only time I can think of that works for UK and myself at the same time...

i think i told you this already but only i can edit my map so i'll have to put the portal in it to the outlands and you'll have to put a portal in your map to the pridelands. of course addig a portal to the pridelands map would mean every one would have to down load the new map again so they can see the outlands portal all i need to know to add the portal is what you have named your map and the same files i sent you but for your map so as i can see it ingame.

OK, but even if I give you MY maps so you can add a portal to it from the pridelands, we still have to redownload it, I think.

EDIT: Also, why can only you edit the map?

*SPECIAL NOTE*

If anyone has any preset requests I AM accepting requests. All I need is a general idea/sketch of what you would like. I am not the best at manes and they still look a little blocky but I need the practice and I'm sure I can find a vid on YouTube. To see some of my presets, check out my DA (in sidebar). Also I can do maps. I am currently working on a small one (but it's pretty cool!), but if anyone has ideas I can put them into play.

Spirits, just email me ALL the related files to the pridelands; any files you made for the map, with the map, exported, saved, anything at all - if you do that would certainly cover all the bases that way, I can add the portals, and fix the outlands a lot, so we can redistribute it all at once. Maybe I might even improve the pride lands a little bit, who knows?
