Tetra

Tetra smirked triumphantly as she dashed down the hillside and the set of stairs to the town's main entrance, which led to the world outside. Tetra had never left Treasure Town, except whenever she would stop and take a rest at the Hot Springs, which were supervised by Elder Torkoal, who was one of the oldest pokemon in town.

The Snivy spun around, her tail swishing in the air as she crossed her arms. A proud look arose on her face to see Metis just barely behind her, and Tensu dragging behind. "Heh-heh. Sorry, Tensu." She chuckled, cocking a brow. However, Tetra's expression faded, and the look on her visage creased with confusion, and some slight worry. "Oh, yeah..Luxray didn't mention that..." She said, resting a green finger on her chin.

"W-Wait!"
A voice cried, and the sound of pounding hooves echoed closer and closer. Tetra raised her head a bit with surprise as Nyla, a ponyta and a member of the guild, galloped towards the trio. "Hey, Nyla!" Waved Tetra, a small smile on her face. The grass snake rather respected someone like Nyla, who was fast as she was, a trait that Tetra marvelled as well as bared.

"You wanna come with us? Well, I guess..." Tetra rubbed the side of her head before smoothing out her small crest. "Besides, we do have room for one more team member, so why not?" With a smile, the Snivy gestured for the fire type to come along.

"Well, it's off to the cave then! Let's go! Let's go!"

Crystal Cave was blindingly bright, and brightly blue. The ground, a rocky blue-gray sand, shifted under the footsteps of the team as they entered under the arch created of two gigantic crystals slanted over eachother. Metis surveyed the many shards of pretty, transparent crystals protruding from the ground like fallen glass, treading carefully around them. A slight ringing filled her ears like little wind chimes, as if the valuable gems were alive and had their own sound of breathing. The gleam cast off of the crystals contrasted against her vermillion fur, rippling over the constantly swishing tails.
The Vulpix's ears raised to detect any noise, but the place was oddly quiet. I guess its only the first floor... The team wandered the silent dungeon for a few more minutes, searching for a staircase or a foe to strike.
"We'll have to be careful," She started in a low voice, trotting close to the front of the party near Tetra, "Most of the foes here have a type advantage over us...And they hit li-" A force slammed into her flank and sent her crashing into large crystal, sparks and shards of blue flakes flying everywhere.

Groaning and springing to her paws, feeling like she had just been hit by a rampaging Tauros, her amethyst eyes came to rest on a dinosaur like creature with a large head covered in a dark blue-marking. The Cranidos raked its backleg against the ground and snuffed furiously. Metis stepped forward only to have her side spasm violently in pain, the fox growled.
"You'll pay for that!" A ball of flames gathered in her spread maw as she threw her head back and sent a red hot flamethrower shooting toward the foe. Behind the Cranidos, three other Pokemon appeared, a Beldum, a Wormadam, and a Golem.

Tensu was somewhat behind, taking care to keep out of the glare from the Ponyta's light but in a position to see everything around him. Keen eyes never lingered in one spot for too long, they went to one location to another with trained vigilance, staying alert while listening to the others beside him and heeding Metis's words of warning. The tip of his tail was still stinging a bit, not enough to be painful though enough to be aware of it. It was the result of the hurried Ponyta that wanted to come along, she had managed to pass him (much to his dismay) back at the gate and in her rush he had to quickly swipe his tail out of the way, though still managed to get lightly burned.

It could be because of this distraction that he had failed to notice the enemy Pokemon from coming up behind them. Before he could even blink, Metis, who was standing beside him, was knocked from her feet and sent flying ahead. Quickly Tensu turned around to face the threat, cocking an ear back to listen for a sign that the vixen was okay. The Meowth was rewarded by an angry outburst and flame that he stayed out of the path off, hitting directly at the Cranidos. "I've almost forgotten how sneaky these guys can be, they're a lot smarter than the normal dungeons that are more commonly visited," he commented, then locked sights with the Golem. "Lets see if they can handle a little water, eh?"

With a mischievous smirk, Tensu took a deep breath, then released a small ring of water from his maw that grew bigger and bigger until it slammed into the Golem, drenching it. The boulder Pokemon cried out in both pain and anger, though still had strength in it to remain standing and glare at the Meowth. However, it gave a short pause, then began moving about in a puzzled matter. "Sweet, it confused him, too!" Tensu declared with a "thumbs up" and a cheeky grin. However, just then, the Wormadam came up and a squirt of a silk white substance covered itself all over the feline.

"Ah, yuck!" Chikao cringed, the substance quickly hardening and sticking to his fur. "Dang string shot! I could use a little help here from someone!" The urgent plea was made when the Meowth noticed the Beldum was preparing to attack, and was unable to defend himself with the sticky substance constricting his movements. Quickly he worked on getting it off, but it didn't appear he'd be able to free himself in time to avoid getting hit by the Beldum.
The Hobbit

"Where did you go to, if I may ask?" said Thorin to Gandolf as they rode along.
"To look ahead," said he.
"And what brought you back in the nick of time?" "Looking behind,"...

((Holy kapoopers, I'm sorry to keep you guys waiting!))

"Okay. Floor six, floor six..." Electra mumbled to herself, trying to make the number stick to her mind. She shook her head and looked around, trying not to stumble as she walked. "Yeah, it is pretty quiet," she agreed. "I guess I was expecting Starly and Spearow flying everywhere. It's like there's nothing living here at all, even though by the looks of it, one would think it would be active and loud." Electricity buzzed beneath her fur, making a nearly inaudible vibrating noise. "I guess because it's the first floor, no one's really busy."

Nyla gasped in surprise as a bead of water streamed down her back, making her fiery mane sizzle. She felt a slight fear as cold as icemelt trickle down her spine, despite the fire constantly heating her fur, but tried to shake it away as she trotted slowly on. Suddenly as Metis abruptly stopped talking and was sent flying into a large crystal, she whipped around, her hazelnut-colored eyes round.

As the Meowth fired water at the Golem, the Ponyta tried to suppress a shiver. Water never worked well with her.
She saw a Wormadam come up and spray silk at Tensu and as his pleas reached her ears she galloped forward, noticing a Beldum get ready to charge. "Here, I'll help you!"

Kyeshui was now just looking straight ahead. His silver-tinted gaze, which was mostly a dull sky blue was paying close attention to a single area, there appeared to be a strange marble terrain to the ground there. "I know..." Kyeshui replied to Electra's common reasoning, the rather arupdetly he ran towards the marble, it was, none other than the light gray stair case, which was quite out of place. "I fpund the next floor!" He called to Electra, then began to hurridly trot down the stairs, his black-padded paws making muffled and short-lived 'thumping' noises.

He jumped down from the third step, ladding on something metalic, it didn't seem right to be there. Surely this couldn't be the next set of steps. It wasn't. and much to the Riolu's dismay, aslmost as soon as he stepped on the tile-shaped metal, a sea of Poke'mon appeared. There had to have been at least fourteen. "Electra! Hurry up and get down here....We have a problem!" Kyeshui called over his shoulder. Though, fourtantly they were all Poke'mon about five levels weaker than him and Electra. "Aura Sphere!" He shouted, for some reason he had started shouting the names of his attacks before they were made. With a rather forceful push of his arms, the white aura ball which had a strange tint of gold in the middle went tumbling towards the other Poke'mon, he managed to hit one directly, and it fainted.

The Only problem was, is that this made it's comrades angry. A Bulbasuar used Vine Whip, which was a move that used the vines usually tucked in a Bulbasuar's flower-like back...thing. The forest green vines managed to grasp around Kyeshui's legs, making him stumble forward abit. "Uh-oh..." he trailed off, just before face-planting on the ground. The Bulbasaur almost immediantly called the attack back after that. Rather hestinatly, Kyeshui pushed himself up and started waving a fist at the Bulbasaur, which laughed rather tauntly at him. "I'll kill you- I swear!" He said loudly, making the other Poke'mon stop in they're tracks, as they were walking abit closer to him and Electra. "Forcepalm!" Kyeshui shouted loudly. At this time, the canine-like Poke'mon seemed to be a mere blur of black and white as he quickly jutted out his arms. His hands where together in a rather strange manner, so his palms were quite visable. The Bulbsaur went flying, almost litteraly actually.

The grass-type Poke'mon smacked right against the hard bark of a hemlock tree. Kyeshui flinched abit when it finnaly fell on the ground. "That left a mark..." he muttered, then turned his attention back to the rest of the Poke'mon. "Who's next?" he joked, smiling abit at the remaining Poke'mon.

Metis forced her sore body to stand up straight as the Cranidos emerged from the smoke of her flamethrower, charred but still ready to fight. Growling, the vulpix narrowed her eyes as the dinosaur-like Pokemon raked his back leg against the ground and huffed. Her eyes flickered over to the rest of the group to make sure they were okay, and found that Tensu had scared away the Golem with a power pulse of water. He was now wrapped tightly in the sticky substance the Wormadam had shot at him. Tetra was making short work of the Beldum with a surprisingly powerful flurry of leaves, easily taking off slices and shards of crystals from the wall with a shing!

As the Cranidos charged at her, Metis let out an ear-deafening bellow, which didn't make the foe fly back, but disoriented him enough to let the vulpix deal with the approaching Wormadam. Turning on her back leg she gathered up the flames in her mouth and shot them at the bug type, surrounding the Pokemon with a ring of fire. The wormadam gave a screech of panic and pain as the heat closed in on it. Metis whipped back in time to meet the Cranidos face to face before he head-butted her, sending her flying into Nyla. "Augh!" Her side seemed to be on fire (a bad metaphor, for there actually was a flam burning inside of her.) and she clenched her eyes shut as it spread through her ribs.

For a moment Tensu thought for sure he was going to be attacked by the Beldum, but soon assistance came. First it was Nyla that came to his side to help him out of his "sticky situation" ((Yay for bad pun! ;D)), and a flurry of leaves and strong wind almost obscured his vision from what was happening. Blocking some of the stray bits of gravel and crystal from his eyes by raising an arm, he saw the cause was Tetra herself. Eyes rounded at the sheer force of the move, a feeling of confusion coming over him as he recalled the conversations that spoke of her training. How on earth could she be doing poorly?!

Returning his focus to untying himself, he was grateful for the Ponyta's help as she was able to singe some of it from his fur without completely catching him on fire. Before long, they both managed to get rid of the substance. "Thanks for the help," he commented to both the Ponyta and Tetra, though he wasn't sure if the Snivy heard him considering she was in the middle of battle. Before he could say anything more, however, a blast of sound reached his sensitive ears, and he quickly covered them. As he did so he noticed the Wormadam, but before it could prove to be an immediate threat Metis had unleashed her flame attack to it. The Pokemon gave a cry, but did no more as it quickly fainted in that one move. The cost, however, was an attack from the Cranidos.

"Metis!" Tensu shouted, removing his ears and quickly running forward. Taking a deep breath, the Meowth released another Water Pulse, hitting the Canidos directly before it could raise it's head from the attack.
