Name: Terrance
Family: Pertheus (father) and Nemiri (mother) (both deceased)
Group/Loner: Loner
Species: Lion
Age: Adult
Gender: Male
Personality: First impression of Terrance may seem dense and self-conscious as he appears to be,considering this male has serious problems with shyness and a taciturn behavior, he hides most of the time. Away from strangers who could harm him, demand to hear words uttered or even dare to threaten him. Despite his big and masculine appearance, Terrance is mostly reigned by the constant struggle of dealing with himself. He has a cub's mind, is comparatively childish and so easily fascinated. The male has dedicated his life to solitude, preferring loneliness to any company, albeit he may be fascinated by other beings or not, his permanent inhibitions prevent him from getting in touch with them.
History: Born and raised in a forest outside, Terrance had developed a strange adoration, affection towards trees. The cub was always fascinated by its surroundings, loving the silent moments where no word was spoken or breath was drawn to merely listen to the nature. Everything seemed to be placid, complacency spread through every life form and holding secrets for him. Adventures awaiting to be proceeded, if there hadn't been his father. Pertheus gleaned no joy from watching how his son developed in such an environment, considering he had desired a confident, prideful and strong offspring. However, things had turned out to be different, Nemiri unable to give birth to other cubs due to her disease and Pertheus' only cub being a dreamer, dedicating all his time to banal reveries. A thorn in the despotic male's eye, leading to one decision in the end. Having to expel those traits from his son with full force and rigidity, no matter what it takes, that seemed to be the only goal of the old male. Soon was Terrance under this pressure to always succeed and surpass his father's expectations, which he wasn't capable of.
Trained each day, treated like a worthless minion, punished when something was done wrong to Pertheus' displeasure. No mercy was shown through the years.
Terrance had already grown to a teenager when he was still not able to escape, tears streaming every day, his mother being unable to stop it. Too weak for anything. Soon, like already anticipated, the lioness had given in to the disease and died silently in sleep, the cub's mourning wasn't allowed, the father not having given permission to such a weak behavior. It was taken for granted from the father that the loss of his mother would soon be obsolete and not play a daily role in their life. Obviously judged and concluded wrong, the cub couldn't get over the death of his mother and started to despair, which lead to further punishments and in the end to serious issues in the cub's mind.
Over the years, Terrance had become dependent on his father, unable to be socialized and generally hating to use words. Everything he did seemed to be wrong anyway, no matter what. When his father had eventually died of old age, Terrance felt liberated. Freedom was awaiting him and so he travelled away from their home forest, searching for new places. He had been under constant pressure for all these years long, unable to envelop peacefully like every other cub should, consequently, some issues had settled into his personality. The suppressed dreams of every cub reached the surface again and made the male childish, forcing him to indulge to his own fantasy world, living far away from reality. An invented world, a fiction where he found himself in, being the innocent cub he once was, desiring to relive the years he had missed. Moreover is he living them now from day to day on, fascinated by mere rocks and trees like every cub would be. When the gates were opened by Cloud, Terrance managed to sneak in as well. Aiming for the forest as quick as he could, searching for terrain he was familiar with.

RP example: Terrance stood. Something that was already fascinating him, standing. Standing around in the middle of the forest, inhaling each scent and memorizing the details of it. Impressions were important to the male, no matter how trivial they actually were, everything was worth his attention. What other may dismiss as unworthy to be even noticed, was a catching attraction to the male. Tiny parts of the world served as inspiration pool for his own repeating reveries through the day, the introversion aggravating and alleviating the struggle of daily routine simultaneously. He seemed deprived from crude reality, devoted to his own mind and dreams, literally swimming in them constantly, though, that happily. Whatever captivated others for only brief moments would take Terrance's full attention span of the day. Analyzing and studying stuff, all the things of this world had to be worshipped.
However, when harsh gusts blew through the male's blond mane, he snapped out of his trance. Preoccupancy could be saved for later, now, his daily patrol had to be proceeded. Ears perked up vigilantly, posture straightened, though still hunched over and lowered head to not seem like a threat to anyone, he commenced his first steps with a soft exhale. An exhale to the world, air blowing through his nostrils when he had digested the leaf's scents, something that reminded him of his own mortality. One time, he knew, he would be gone just like his parents, gone to another place he wasn't aware of. Something he didn't know, something he couldn't scrutinize tentatively, instead, being presumably tossed into a new environment relentlessly. Those thoughts bothered the tan male, worried about his own presence and the sense of it when he cut through the tall blades of grass. The uncertainty was something he highly disliked, unable to test it before he would accept it and approve of it. However, he probably had a choice. He could return, just like his parents. Although, they hadn't. They were unfair and mean to him, left alone in the forest to still obey their commands and protect the place. 'Shall they stay away' he told himself, pouting defiantly when he suddenly got upset. How could they just leave him alone, alone without any signal? They hated him, of course. Hatred was the only plausible explanation, so he concluded, considering he wasn't a good boy for the last days. Lost in playing, forgot to be helpful, now he had to pay for it. They were still staying away from him, his father still resting at his rock with his closed eyes and not answering to him. Everything to punish him, just like he deserved it.
Those considerations swirled in Terrance's mind, childishly anticipating his parents to return if he was a good boy. However, he was convinced of this stubbornly, and so was this the only reason why he was ritualistically controlling the borders.
