Shanira

Shanira ran to her mother but passed right through her "Mom?" Her mother frowned "We are not alive, dear." Shanira let out a whine like sound "But...But.." Her father looked at her "You must go back to the mainland." Shanira backed up "Why?" Her father pointed his nose at her "On this island you age rapidly, it's trying to take your life." He was right Shanira already looked like she was almost two years old. "Go to the water, quickly!" Spirits began to push her into the blue depths "As long as you are not touching the land it can't suck away your life." Shanira watched as her parents got farther and farther away "We love you darling, and may our ancestors watch over you." Before she knew it she was back on the mainland. She shook the water from her pelt and stared at the island then to herself, her legs were longer and she was farther away from the ground "Whoa!" she jumped in shock. She ran to the water and saw a much larger face and body, all her cub fluff was replaced by a sleek spotted pelt.

Carmelita raised her head, and saw lioness coming towards her. Should she ran away or stay there..like noting is happening. Until she saw them coming closer, she gulped and hoped they found her mate.

Carmelita tail flicked when she saw the lioness in front. They looked kinda familiar. "Yes?" she asked, wondering what's wrong. Then waited for an answer.
