  "Accalia? Accalia get up..." he whined worriedly as the mutts exchanged confused expressions. The she wolf rolled over to get a glimpse of him."..Sorry.." she whined. She looked at the group behind him and backed up with her teeth bared, "You again." she snapped at the rottweiler. Axel growled viciously, staying silent for a while. He gave off an evil smirk,"Well runt, It looks like your outnumbered. Heh, especially with Max and Kira on my side." Kira held his breath, seeing the she wolf's stunned expression. His heart thundered intensely, feeling a sharp pain in his chest as Accalia's expression changed rapidly from anguish to anger.
   She looked at him and snapped "You going to try to kill me too?"  His ears pinned flat against his skull. He began to protest,"Accalia, I swear I wasn't-" Kira flinched as he watched her back away, knowing she couldn't fight them all. With one last glare, she spun around, running to the trees. Accalia came to a slow stop to look at Kira, her eyes showing her emotional pain and she then quickly looked away, moving into the forest "Attack!" the doberman howled. "No!" Kira shook his head and darted as the pack pursued after the she wolf. She stumbled forward and slid in the snow and Max was going to close in on her. I can't let him! Before the dog could lunge, Kira charged at his pack mate with lightning speed and crashed into the alpha's side, headbutting and knocking them both back into a snowy oak tree. The rest of the pack skidded to a halt, gawking in disbelief.
   The doberman rose, enraged as he roared, "Why did you do that, you fool!!! We could have had her! Did you try to save a pathetic rat's life over your own blood's?!" Kira staggered up about to speak but Max aggressively clenched his great jaws deep in the wolf's loose neck scruff, nearly strangling him, and flung him as hard as he could muster, shredding bits of Kira's skin as he yelped whining in agony from his wrath. "You little brat! I knew you couldn't be trusted!" The wolf laid on the snow ridden ground, seeing his life slowly pass before his eyes. I couldn't. I couldn't help them. I might have only known the wolves for a short time but... There is a bond between us. Us wolves. I can feel it now. Like, my old family. Brothers and sisters. I do care for my pack, but I... I-I couldn't let someone get hurt. I can't stand anymore bloodshed... Kira closed his eyes, a nearly unnoticeable tear forming in the corner of his eyes as he prepared to endure any attack the doberman would throw at him. Max growled with resentment as he padded to the wolf. With a single slice from his razor sharp claws, the snow around Kira was stained by numerous splatters of raining blood.
   In complete shock, Kira's eyes opened wide. N-no pain? He... missed? But how? In the background, he heard the remaining of the pack all gasp in unison. As Kira peered up, he saw why. Launched deep and pierced deep into skin, Max choked up, yanking his paw, trying to be gentle, from Eclipse's now brutally scarred up face. "E-eclipse?" the wolf whispered in a cracked voice. "Max... That's enough sweetie," she whimpered in a sweet, innocent tone at the enraged dog,"Kira's learned his lesson. Please stop this. I don't want him ending up like Gale." Max blinked in shock and the wolf mirrored his actions as he spoke,"G-gale?"
   The husky nodded,"Yes. M-my brother got into a fierce fight with Maxwell. They fought gruesomely in cold blood. Only the victor came out of it alive. The other... was taken by humans. He's probably-" He gulped nervously eyeing Max as the dog muttered, "Enough of this please." His ears flattened as he spoke, his face flushed with sadness. Kira remained silent thinking to himself. He killed her brother? Surprisingly, his hatred against Kira vanished and he spoke in monotone. "Lets get back home." His face was grim as he started padding back with the rest besides the wolf and Eclipse surprised. "Hey, well what about the mutt that escaped?!" one of the mix breeds yelled. Axel shook his head as he followed the doberman mumbling,"There's no point in arguing with leader when he is like this. Come on shrimps." The three followers blinked and shouted in protest, following the other two dogs. Kira limped up, shaking off his snow blanket. He stood shakily and turned to see Eclipse was still there.
   "Eclipse, why did you-" Kira began, but was cut off,"We are family, aren't we Kira?" He was astounded by her words and was more astonished when she licked his cheek. "Now come on, let's get back." Kira nodded without thinking and the two paced slowly, trailing the rest of the pack. The expressions the she wolf had shown him were stained in his mind and he whimpered, hearing her words echo through his mind. "I'm sorry," he whimpered almost silently under his breath, feeling great pain in his chest. Eclipse eyed him a bit funny but kept padding along beside him. The two were silent the rest of the way back to there home, and Kira couldn't help but think about the she wolf worriedly the entire time.

Accalia

Accalia romped through the snow like a overly excited pup, it had been two days since she has been outside "Hey old man!" she called to her new friend, his butt was in the air with his head and front-paws in the snow. He jumped up and held a dead rabbit in his mouth "Got it!" he trotted over to her and dropped it "I can't take this, you're the one who caught it." she nudged it with her nose back towards him "It's okay, I have another." he backed up and sunk his head back into the hole and pulled out another one "Well okay then." she laughed. They both picked up their meals and returned to the den and ate their fill "I never asked you, but why are you out here instead of the city?" the dog took a moment to respond "That's for me to know." she sensed some aggression in his voice and changed the subject "What should we do today?" The dog lifted his head and perked his ears "You gotta go." Accalia tilted her head "Why?" she almost didn't want to leave him to be all alone again "Now!" he growled, he stood up and stalked towards her "Hey! What's going on!" she yelped in confusion. He shoved her out "Don't come back!" he growled as he ducked back into his home, confusion and sadness filled her head, she spun around and ran to the city, she didn't know why but her brain was telling her to. The morning sunrise made it look like someone threw diamonds over the landscape, she came to a stop to intake nature's beauty until she smelled something "A wolf?...Wait No..Dogs.." she sniffed again "It's a mixture of both." she turned her head to the forest, she wanted to go back but she didn't want to disobey the dog's orders to stay away "Must be old.". She was close to the city and decided to keep going, reaching the city she looked around to make sure no one was out and about, only a few elderly people were awake. She made her way into the city and sniffed around,she knew she would have to find Kira and tell her how sorry she was for those cold words, Are you going to kill me too?, Accalia shook the words from her head and kept walking. Her thoughts trailed back to the old dog, Why was he acting like that? And what had he heard to make him snap at her?, she looked at the ground then back up, she sniffed the air again and could smell Kira.
She wanted to go find him but she knew he was with those dogs so she couldn't just wander in "They would tear me to shreds." she growled. Then a thought came to her mind "What if he doesn't want to see never again?" she whined "What if he draws me in then tells his pack where I am?" a confused whine left her mouth. So many 'What if's' were running through her mind, she looked back to where she came from then forward again, deciding whether or not to keep going or turn around and leave. She thought for a moment and decided to stay, she walked down the lonely street and whispered Kira's name every few minutes, she didn't want to attract the attention of the dogs he was with. The smell of the pack was stronger than ever as she made her way down the street, hearing a soft snore she came to a stop and peered around a corner and saw a pile of dogs sleeping. She looked closer and couldn't tell if Kira was among them, but his scent was coming from the pile "Kira?" she whispered, one of the dogs stirred then lifted his head. Accalia jumped in shock and charged down the street and turning sharply into a familiar alley, she stopped and saw the box was still intact but was severely weathered "Looks like we meet again." she grumbled as she walked in and curled up. She wondered what the old dog was doing, why he had showed so much hostility towards her, finally she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

   Kira groaned quietly in his sleep feeling something tap against his face. The wolf groaned "Ugh... stop it! I'm trying to sleep..." He rolled over again and blinked his eyes open. "I'm sorry sleeping beauty. But I think you should get up. Max is gone." Kira blinked and sprung up onto his paws as he glanced up, seeing Dodge to his relief, "Hey, where have you been? And what do you mean gone?" "It's kinda personal business," the laborador looked away for a second before continuing, "And he has been gone since i got back a while ago. I heard what happened when i got back. Eclipse told me. She said you got in a bad fight and she had to stop it. Max is probably still mad." Kira frowned nodding but was surprised when he continued, "That's not all either. I think I saw someone familiar pass by a bit ago. Somehow, i remembered the scent."
  "Who? You didn't see who it was?" Kira frowned still but curiosity spiked in him. Dodge smirked a bit, "Well, care to find out who it is?" The wolf tilted his head and ran after the dog, seeing he already started walking. "Woah! Wait up! What if its's a dog from another pack around here? I don't want to stirr up trouble," Kira whispered worriedly under his breath, but Dodge didn't seem to listen. "Relax... I'm pretty sure it's not." His ears flicked in annoyance, following beside the dog thinking. Man... He never listens. The two search around the area and Kira could pick up the scent almost clearly now. "Dodge, I can't..." He began, but it was too late. The two stood in a familiar dark alley and Kira couldn't help but shiver nervously.
   "Up here." he smiled slightly walking forward but the wolf snagged onto the dogs neck scruff loosely. Kira whined low shaking his head,"N-no... She's upset with me. I'll just upset her." Dodge threw hm a skeptical look then shook his head. "You don't have to. I want to meet this other wolf though. I'm curious." Kira continued whining but he followed the dog as he approached the same box that Kira was resting in before. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" Dodge slowly poked his head through the box flap, glance up at Accalia.

Accalia

Accalia had a dreamless slumber, the many thoughts that filled her mind wouldn't let her enjoy a peaceful dream. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" Accalia jumped straight up like a scared cat and hit her head on the top of the box, "Ouch." she grumbled lowly. In confused state she looked to where the voice came from, her vision was blurred from her early afternoon nap, she blinked a few times and saw that it was a Labrador. She could smell the other dogs on him and immediately tensed up "Yes, I'm in here." she growled, she was too scared to leave the 'safety' of the box and stayed in. The fur on her back stood straight up as she kept a careful gaze on the dog, she watched his every movement he made, trying to see if she could read his body language. "Why are you here?" she growled "Did your pack send you here to finish me off?" she was[ going to throw more questions at him until she smelled the familiar scent of Kira. She slowly and carefully stuck her muzzle outside the box and took in a few whiffs "Kira?" she slowly exited the box and turned her head and saw Kira standing a few tail lengths back, she perked her ears and wagged her tail "Kira!" she yipped like a pup and romped up to him. She stopped in front of him and laid her ears against her head "I'm sorry.." she whined "I was just scared and angry, I didn't mean what I said to you." she slid onto her stomach and laid her head on her paws then looked up at him with her tail swaying slightly, hoping for forgiveness.

   Accalia jumped straight up like a scared cat and hit her head on the top of the box, "Ouch." she grumbled lowly. Dodge chuckled a bit watching the she wolf looked to where the voice came from, blinking a few times. "Yes, I'm in here." she growled and immediately tensed up. The fur on her back stood straight up as she kept a careful gaze on the dog "Why are you here?" she growled "Did your pack send you here to finish me off?" The Labrador chuckled again, "Me? Finishing you off? Hate to break it to you, but im the weakest link. I brought a friend of mine that wants to see you."
   Kira shuffled back a bit whining nervously as she slowly and carefully stuck her muzzle outside the box and took in a few whiffs, "Kira?" she slowly exited the box and turned her head and saw Kira. The wolf gave off a nervous grin,"s-sup?" Accalia perked her ears and wagged her tail "Kira!" she yipped like a pup and romped up to him, catching him off guard. He blinked in complete shock, his jaw a bit agate. She stopped in front of him and laid her ears against her head "I'm sorry.." she whined "I was just scared and angry, I didn't mean what I said to you." Kira frowned watching as she slid onto her stomach and laid her head on her paws then looked up at him innocently. Kira went deep into thought for a bit, trying to decide what to say exactly.
   "L-look... Accalia. I-I didn't mean to well... I can er... explain about the dogs..." Kira mumbled still nervous a bit, trying to say everything at once. The wolf couldn't help but still feel responsible and guilty for the whole thing. He frowned and glanced up, watching Dodge walk over. "So? This is the other wolf eh? Kira has told me a lot about you." The wolf blinked, blushing slightly glancing at the ground. The dog laughed again seeing him blush and perked his ears. "Someone's coming. Quick! Over here!" Kira snapped out of it, watching the laborador confused and blinked, watching him flip the latch to an underground passage with his snout. He gripped one of the knobs between his jaws and yanked the door open. "It's getting closer. Come in here if you don't want to get caught." Kira glanced over at Accalia confused but padded forth quickly to the entrance.

Accalia kept her blue gaze on Kira as she sat up  "L-look... Accalia. I-I didn't mean to well... I can er... explain about the dogs..." She shook her head "No it's okay." she smiled "It doesn't really matter."  She nudged him gently with her paw "So? This is the other wolf eh? Kira has told me a lot about you." Accalia looked at the Lab, A lot about me? What is there to tell?, she grinned then looked back to Kira who was slightly blushing and looking at the ground, she laughed quietly and stood up.  "Someone's coming. Quick! Over here!" Accalia spun around to face the lab and watched in confusion as he flipped a latch to go underground, she stood in surprise, I should learn some things from these dogs, "It's getting closer. Come in here if you don't want to get caught." Accalia trotted forward and followed the dog carefully. As she made her way down she kept her ears down and head low, she didn't know what to expect when she reached flat ground.

   Kira nudged her softly with his muzzle, motioning for her to go in first. He jumped down after she did, with Dodge coming last. As he did, he reached out for a rope bolted to the back of the door and the door slammed shut from his weight. Kira stared at the dog, astonished. How did he know this was here? Dodge smirked a bit, seeming to answer his thought, "I've lived in the city for years. The building we're below used to be a hotel. If you follow up the hall here, you'll see this was one of the floors that had extra rooms." The wolf blinked and flicked his ears, catching a rat between his pause staring at it in disgust. "Yea... I see why it closed down." Kira smirked a bit as the lab rolled his eyes.
   "All from the generosity of the nobles," the dog whispered. Kira nodded, mimicking his sarcasm, "They sure do deserve there title... Maybe paradise will just be a world without them." The two laughed but stopped, staring up at the door hearing muffled growls from above. "Damn it! There not here! I swear i caught there scent," the dog tilted his head hearing the familiar voice of Max. Kira frowned whining nervously but the lab hushed him. "He won't find us if we stay silent," Dodge whispered lowly, "Come on. While there searching, I can show you around."

Accalia swept her gaze around the hall cautiously, she didn't want to be caught by surprise again. She stuck her nose to the ground and began to sniff around, the smell of rats and the old smell of humans fill her nose, she lifted her head and crinkled her nose. "I've lived in the city for years. Accalia looked at the lab, Damn nobles, she growled to herself and walked forward "They sure do deserve there title... Maybe paradise will just be a world without them." Accalia came to an abrupt stop "Paradise.." she whispered, "We should get out of here soon we-" Accalia shut her mouth when she heard voices above them "Damn it! There not here! I swear I caught their scent." Accalia crouched low to the ground and laid her ears back. She heard worried whines coming from Kira but she moved her gaze over him and to where they had come from, expecting them to burst in at any moment. "He won't find us if we stay silent." Accalia kept her mouth shut and slowly stood up "Come on. While they're searching, I can show you around." Accalia nodded her head and let the lab take the lead, she stopped and waited for Kira and walked next to him.
