((I know. ^^ that's why I chose the name.))
As soon as she got to the edge of the territory, she looked around quietly. She could smell blood in the north. "He's going to wind up-" she stopped herself mid growl before thinking things over. It wasn't her problem, so why worry? She sighed, crossing over the imaginary line that separated Slay's territory from the rest of the forest.
She trotted the rest of the way, until coming to a den in the south, which was covered in moss and leftover leaves from winter. She treaded quietly, so as not to alarm the owner.
Once she poked her head in slowly, she found herself staring in the purple eyes of a small, ice cap white grizzly cub, pawing at the motionless body of his mother. "M... Miss, please..."
She sighed lightly and sat down. "You're albino..." She said quietly.
The cub's eyes filled with tears as it galloped to her front leg and buried his snout into her shoulder. "What... Who are you...?"
Abyss leaned down and gently licked the top of the cub's head. "My name is Abyss."
"You're... Alone too...?" The cub looked up at her, remembering that his mother had always told him that wolves traveled in packs.
She glanced at the chuckling image of her alpha. "More or less." She said quietly.
