Slayer raised his brow further and nodded his head. "Well get on with it." He insisted, his tone growing irritated. He'd been in 2 fights today, and was in no mood for guessing games. Come to think of it, he was never in the mood for guessing games.

she crouches down then clears her throat, standing again. "umm, how do you feel about puppies?" she asks a bit nervously.

Slayter narrowed his eyes before shrugging. "I'unno. I guess, maybe in the future, once all of this crap is cleared up and we get to my old territory. Why? Did you want to have some?" he asked, cocking his head to the side.

she shakes her head and sits back down with a bit of a defeated look. lunix steps foward and gives slay a look like 'really?' "i think she is trying to say she may be having puppies..." he whispers in slays ear. he looks back at aluxia and flicks his tail.

Slayter had lowered his head to Lunix. His eyes shot up to Aluxia before his mouth went dry. He lifted his head and cleared his throat. He nodded before turning and started to walk towards the water. Switch grinned and shook his head as Slayer walked. "Good job, dude." he said before they disappeared over the rise.

lunix returns to aluxia rubbing his cheek on her foreleg comfortingly. she smiles weakly but then watches him dissapear over the rise. she sighs and pads to the back of the cave, flopping down and heaving a sigh. "well now look what i've done." she mutters to herself. lunix sighs but stays where he was, watching  her worriedly.

Nik looked at Aluxia with concern in his green eyes.  These were hard times and with pups it would be harder and over the months she would not be able to walk as far as the other wolves.  He looked over to where Slay had left.  His eyes narrowed.  If he doesn't treat these pups well he will have to help them myself.  He will not let a pup suffer what he had.
"He'll come around.  He just needs time to grasp the fact that he will be a father."  He looked at Aluxia.
"These are difficult times and the last thing on any of our minds was a litter.  But luckily they'll be born in a pack that will protect them."  He said.

aluxia looks up and nods, "yeah, i guess..." she curls in a ball and closes his eyes. lunix sighs and pads to his friend. he hops on top of her lightly and squeezes himself into the small space between her tail and her side. she laughs slightly and lifts her head letting him get settled. "lu..." she lays her head back down and smiles up at nik, "im sure things will be fine." she says, trying to sound strong, but it didnt reach her eyes.

"You doubt yourself, Slay and your pack.  We will do everything in our power to protect you and your pups.  Slay is not going to abandon you or love you any less.  We all saw today what happens when a father does not love his pups.  Slay would be wise not to repeat what Nixon has done to me.  You have no idea how lucky you are.  If you were in my pack you would be worrying about much more grim things."  Nik said.  He walked to the opening of the cave.
"I am going hunting."  He stated.

Slayer sat by the water and hung his head, Switch hopping off his shoulder and moving up to a tree that was nearby. "I really didn't need this right now." he said and flopped down, and watched his reflection dancing over the flowing water. He whined lowly as his ears fell. Switch rolled his eyes and settled in. "Well, we can't change what's happened now. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen." He shrugged. Slayter looked up before turning his emerald gaze back to the water. "I know." He mumbled before closing his eyes.
