A Standing Chance (Realistic Wolf RP)

      Aluxia nodded in understanding and closes her eyes. Things were about to get difficult, that was for certain. But their Alphas, they could make it through anything. She thought in determination.
      Lunix yawns and pads over to Marv, plopping down in the dirt. "White, I'm tired..." he grumbled.

"Maybe that was the reason you were not killed.  It was looking after you, protecting you." Nik said softly.  He knew nothing about Abyss's pack and their believes but he guessed they believed in spiritual beings like his own pack.

Marv looked up with blurry eyes and purred.  He playfully put one of his paws on the smaller feline's head.

lunix lets out a mmrow of laughter. he rolls over and hops on top of marv playfully, batting his nose with sheathed claws.

Slayter lifted his head and watched the cats with a raised brow. Switch landed beside him and copied the action. Slayter turned to Switch. "Uh..." He said. Switch turned to Slay. "Uh..." He said and grinned shortly. "Switch please do--" Slay started "Switch please do--" He copied and laughed shortly. "What are you, a mockingbird?" Slayer scoffed.

     Abyss nodded. "That may be the case." Her eyes gleamed Asa dying star flashed across the felty sky. "When it turns red, that's when I hope to leave this forest..."

"Why is that?"  Nik asked.  He flicked his ear back toward the cave were the cats were playing.

Marv lifted up his back end to buck off Lunix.  He crouched and moved closer to Lunix.  He swatted him and jumped back, his tail wagging like a pup.

Aluxia looks over at the two with an amused look on her face. she closes her eyes again, falling asleep.

Lunix growls playfully and darts under the larger feline, he swats at his paws and darts back out so Marv wont crush him if he lost balance. just in case his tactic worked.

One of Marv's paws collapsed and he fell with a large 'omf!'  He lay spreadeagled on the floor, purring in amusement.

     Klein opened his eyes and sat up like a large teddy bear. He smiled as he watched the two of them play. He had, actually, gotten quite a bit bigger since Abyss met him at first.

     Abyss chuckled lightly, but suddenly remembered his question. "The moon turned blood red before the virus hit, or at least I thought it did. That..." she looked around at the overgrowth that sealed them into the mouth of the cave. "This is a perfect place for an ambush. If we're attacked, we won't be able to retreat very well." Her ears perked as she heard a cricket nearby.

Lunix laughs so hard he fell over and started rolling on the floor of the cave. He stops laughing and sits back up, trying to catch his breath.

Aluxia feels Abyss's unease and sits up. she pads around Slayter and hops down to where the others sat, "everything okay?" she asked looking out into the forest.
