Abyss's thoughts melted like wax.
Suddenly, she could feel the biting icy air and the feeling of snow melting under her warm body. The snow flakes had entered a violent duel as they fled to the snowy ground below.
She was home. The violent storm had been brewing, the wind began howling loudly, as it summoned a swirling mass of ice and wind.
Suddenly, the ice became covered in blood... She saw the gruesome scene of her birth pack slaughtered... Some of the bodies had been laid open and dissected like frogs in a frozen lab. Others had been strung up on the branches of long-dead trees that had been frozen into stone. She could see her family strung up on the branches by their enthralls... Their blood had long since frozen, creating crimson icesickles that hung as a small reminder of a forgotten story...
The ebony wolf's eyes snapped open, almost like a car's head lights. She didn't scream, she didn't jolt... She merely stared off into space, thinking about her dreams.
