A Standing Chance (Realistic Wolf RP)

Zanu let his stance loosen, he shifted his position to let his head turn as he heard a hunting trap go of.
"Whatever poor beast that's goten stuck in that is gonna have a time gettin out" Zanu mumbled. He still had his eye on the wolf that had entered, but was no longer in a defensive position.
Khar lifted his wings and swooped out of the cave. His forked tail expanded a he slowed down to land next to the trapped lynx. "You ok? How bad is it?" He asked.

        Suffer nodded and said "However you want to call it.." Responding to the question about how bad is it, Suffer tugged on it and roared in pain again, the rain dripping against her pelt she hissed as the trap closed in more on her leg.

Zanu trotted up to Khar and the lynx.
"Hmmmm..." He looked down at the trap. Putting his paw on one side of the trap for leverage, he tugged on the other half with his jaws, trying to loosen it just enough.
"Take it out now!" He said through the metal of the trap in his jaws as he briefly help it slightly open.

  Maska tensed and wheeled around, tail arched high as he faced the other wolf. A low growl rumbled from his throat and he slowly released his grip on Koda, not taking his eyes off the male and the bird. Raising his head back up, his gaze drifted from the brute to the ebony fae once she spoke, then gave a nod. "Exactly. The Hell did you think I wanted..." He huffed sarcastically, trying to swallow the growl of annoyance that had began to creep up his throat. "It's a cave. I'm sure we all wanted the same thing. And if we're all willing to be cooperative, we can all share it to get out of the rain." He added, straightening up.
     Suddenly, the all too familiar snapping sound of a human trap rang through Maska's ear drum. "Dad, what was that?" Koda whimpered, staring wide-eyed up at him as he slunk back between his forelegs. "A human trap." Maska murmured quietly, his attention focused on the outside. "Poor beast." Was all the more he had to say of the matter, it not being his main focus at the moment. He flattened his ears and glanced from creature to creature, the tension between them all still easily felt in the air.

Age: Young adult

Accompanied by: A Bengal tiger that stays hidden until Li is threatened. His name is Aku. ((The way they met is a story...))

Personality: Li is charming, kind, and can also be a push over.

Description/Picture: Li is a very large Timber wolf. He has a scar on his chest. He is strong enough to wrestle with Aku.

Bio: Both of them are from Asia. As a pup, Li was abandoned by his pack. Little did he know, he was the only survivor of the virus. He was taken in by a female tiger, who only had one surviving cub. Once he grew up, and the tigress died, he and his adopted brother had taken turns hunting, oblivious to the virus.

     "Aku!" A timber wolf shouted as he chased a deer into a clearing. "Aku, he's too fast for me!"
     Upon his words, a blur of orange and black swooped out of the trees and landed on the deer, crushing it with superior weight. "What is wrong Li? Usually, you don't have any problems with these..." The large cat said, sitting on the deer.
     The wolf sighed. "I'm sorry... I don't know what's wrong with me...!" He growled faintly. "GAW! I can't believe I'm getting so slow... This rain isn't helping at all!" He suddenly heard a snap and a growl.
     The tiger blinked as it headed for the source. "Wait here, Li..." He said, padding cautiously towards the bird and lynx. Surprisingly, they weren't too far. "Everything alright?" He said, eyes slitted as he looked towards the wolf.


     Abyss nodded. "Where are you heading after this?" She asked the father quietly.

Maska raised his head and glanced over at the female, his tail held horizontal with the ground. "I'm not sure. Somewhere as far away from this place as possible." He murmured with a sigh, lowering himself down to his haunches. Koda craned his neck to stare up at the brute, then gazed over at the fae, flicking his ears back.

     "Maybe you can join us in heading south?" She questioned. This male was like the other. He didn't seem wary of an ebony pelt. Then, she got a better look at the pup to see that his pelt was like her own.

"South?" Maska questioned, glancing down at the pup that was still nestled between his forepaws, then back at the fae. "Well. I suppose company couldn't hurt. If anything, safety in numbers." He said confidently, nodding at her. Koda eyed the fae, ears flattened, and wriggled further back until his father's foreleg completely shielded him from the fae's view. "Anyway. My name is Maska. And this is Koda." Maska spoke up, gesturing towards the cowering pup with his head.

     She smiled faintly. "My name is Abyss." She laid down on her stomach.

   Suffer then dashed out of the trap but wheeled around and said "Yeah, Thanks.." Her eyes shimmered as she blinked, she looked to her wounded leg and say down and reached her he's towards the leg and let her corse sand tongue lick the wound she saw metal in her pad she grasped the metal and tugged it out she then threw it, away, Regret saw three- no four figures near Suffer she launched from her spot as her paws pounded the ground as she ran towards Suffer it soon began into a trot, and then a walk she then looked towards the wolf, bird and tiger, and said "Thanks for helping my friend..." She blinked slowly and sat down.
