A Standing Chance (Realistic Wolf RP)

     Abyss made her way to the bank. She could see a torn up beaver dam a few feet away. It was unstable in the rushing water, meaning a good kick would tear it down and force the infected wolves to plummet into the deadly rapids. She looked across and saw a dead tree hanging over the water by a thread. "I have an idea." She said, sprinting to the dam.

Zanu saw where she was running and got the jist, following her. Khar had landed on the Damn lightly, examining it.
"What would you have me do?" He asked, showing he was there for assistance. His emerald eyes observed the situation, wondering what her plan was going to be. All the while he could feel that the infected were getting closer, his keen instincts going mental, yet he stayed calm, even though it was frustratingly hard with the thought at the back of his head nagging at him.

Maska stared at the fae as she darted off, immediately following her. With his mouth full, he remained silent, examining the situation from the muddy bank.

    "We get everyone across the dam here. Then, before the infected can catch up, we can knock that dead tree over." She tossed her head towards the leaning tree. "The water will carry it to the dam. And, since the dam is decrepit, the mass of the tree will destroy the dam so the infected won't be able to cross."

Zanu nodded. That made sense. "I'll go first" He offered. He decided to do this so he could test if it was safe, as it seemed dangerously damaged. He placed his first paw on it, he felt a few twigs break inside their case as he put his pressure on it, but otherwise it seemed stable. He then continued on, until his whole body was on it. He lightly stepped over it, feeling it creak with his weight, continuing on, he was almost there, he heard a few of the smaller twigs snap, but he continued on until he got to the other side.
"It seems safe enough, just tread carefully" He called over to the others.

     Abyss nodded. "Heaviest goes last." She let out a bark, trying to get the pack's attention.

     Li and Aku looked over towards her. Aku was still carrying Regret on his back, so he picked Suffer up by the scruff and began walking towards the dam.

Maska stood still, listening to the she-wolf's explination. "Makes sense." He murmured through his mouthful of his pup's fur. He watched as Zanu crossed first, then glanced at Abyss. "Well then, go ahead." He muttered lightly, patiently sitting back on his haunches and setting Koda down in the mud. The pup winced at the odd feel of the deep muck that was nearly up to his belly.

     She nodded. She jumped up onto the dam with feather-like paws. "Do you need me to take Koda?" She asked before continuing over the dam.

Koda flattened his ears and slunk back closer to Maska's foreleg. "I can manage." The brute said sternly, flicking his tail as he bent down to snatch the pup up again by his middle. Stepping on the dam with his forepaws and pausing, waiting for Abyss to cross.

Zanu watched as Abyss crossed over the damn, and noticed how she easily walked along. Zanu nodded as she made her way over, and he turned to look over at the land before him, checking out where they would be headed.
Khar had once again taken flight, circling over the side in which the wolves waited to cross the bridge, he went back to the trail they had been on and saw the infected wolves where nearly at the river. He made a sudden dive, spiralling down to the ground, landing in a small skid, leaving a dust cloud covering him, before it blew away.
"Those infected wolves are close, you'd better hurry" Khar told them quickly, before shooting into the air again to keep an eye on the mad wolves closing in.
