Dusty shook his head, balancing himself on a flat rock. "I'm fine." He informed the pup, nodding to the shallows. "I'll catch my own." Looking away, he focused around him, glancing around for any sign of prey. His ears perked as he heard a soft splash, and he immediately hurried over to investigate what had caused it. He spotted a medium sized fish, but not as big as what Teegan had caught earlier. Bending down, he waited for the fish to come in sight. The water stilled for a moment, but it didn't take long for Dusty to spot the silver fish again. Preparing himself, he lunged forward, grasping the fish in his jaws and thrusting it on the shore. While it flopped around for the water, Dusty slammed his paw down and ripped its neck open, wagging his tail as he watched the prey still. Picking it up again, he trotted over to the pup and slipped beside him, devouring the kill as he watched Gavorche.
When he had finished, he sat up on his haunches and glanced at the pup. "Okay, maybe we should hunt for crabs now?" he inquired, tilting his head to one side. He wasn't sure what the pup really wanted to do, he was always full of surprises.
