Gavroche glared up at the wolf as she spoke, ears flattened defiantly. As he opened his mouth to utter a snappy reply, he paused, listening as a raspy howl rang through the shoreline. He remained silent, glancing back towards Flak.


Flak stiffened as the unearthly howl hit his eardrums. "Hell." He muttered, shooting a quick glance at Teegan. "We can't keep fighting them all day. We've gotta get off the shore, it's too open." He raised his voice so that Micah and Dusty could hear as well. "Where the Hell is Xizon with those stupid cats? We're moving out whether they're here or not." He huffed, walking over towards the wolf and standing tall before her. "That offer on the waterfall cave still standing? We need a place to stay that's safe." He said, ignoring the presence of the pup in front of him, obviously still angered by him.

marie nodded  "follow me but be careful the path is steep but its the safest cave i can think of" marie started towards the path looking back to make sure the others were following she started up placing her paws carefully and warning the others when they came to a narrower part she stepped off the upwards path and onto a much flatter and wider one. " go round and through that opening" she said to flak "i'll make sure everyone gets inside" she waited for the others to enter

Risto felt pleasure trickle inside of him when Vicci agreed to go by his suggestion. As the mutant lunged out to grasp Vicci's neck, he quickly scorched his claws down the sides of its face. Glancing around, his eyes darted through the narrow gaps of where the mutants surrounded. Leaning closer to Vicci, he murmured, "If things get too hot, try to escape and lead the mutants towards the shore. I hate to bring them on the others, but only two against five...so yeah." Risto muttered, flicking his tail aside as a mutant tried to lunge for it again. Flattening his ears, he managed to gorge one of its eyes out, shuddering as he felt his claws hook onto it. "Let's hope the others don't forget us." He muttered to himself, glancing at Vicci if she was okay.

She nodded to his instructions, trying to calm and organize herself. Her ears flattened against the top of her head. They've probably already left, She wanted to say, but stopped herself just in time, stepping back and accidentally bumping into the Tom when another mutant lunged once again, and another. She flailed her paws about, letting out hisses and yowls, as the disgusting creatures got more brave.

   Flak lowered his eyebrows and nodded before turning to address the others. "Well, you heard the wolf. Get going. I'll hang back here for a while until those damn cats and Xizon return, then we'll catch up." He barked, his tail arched high as he instructed the other dogs, narrowing his eyes at Gavroche especially.
   Gavroche rolled his eyes and let out a huff, slumping down a bit. "But I have to spend the next few days wif that mutt!" He complained, his posture low and rather submissive, for once. "Can't I just stay here 'til the cats and Xizon come back, then go?"
  Flak let a low growl escape his throat as the pup protested, as he thought. "I'm not about to babysit you. Just do as I said and go. You're in no position to ask to stay, runt." He snapped, glaring down at Gavroche then glancing up at the wolf. "Just carry him. I don't have time for this." He instructed with a snarl of annoyance.

Marie nodded and grabbed the annoying pup by the scruff she walked to the back of the cave and dumped him at the netrance of the tunnel  everyone should go back into this tunnel if you are a larger dog crouch down low and crawl through the tunnel opens up into a large cave with a stream running through the mutants are to stupid to figure out how to get theough te tunnel" she instructed the dogs she waited by the entrance to the smaller tunnelwaiting for every one to go through " hey flak!" She batked loud enough for him to hear " when your done out there crawl through the tunnel in the back of the cave"

Teegan watched as Flak gave the pup a stern talking to, she nodded along with everything hour had to say as if to say she agreed. Which she did. The pup seemed to disobedient and his stubborn, ignorant would get them into more trouble than then already were. A sigh then escaped her maw then followed by a smirk as the male announced he would be spending time with the she wolf so she could teach him a lesson or two. Flicking her tail as she shot a glance towards the wolf giving her a smile as she seemed slightly happy about the idea. But the smile then vanished as she listened to the pups low tone as he moaned again causing her to let out a grunt and another snarl, the pups attitude towards the elders had started to grind on her and she didn't see what his problem was. The piercing howl then rung through her ears causing her to flinch slightly as she let out a snarl "Your right, members are just going to keep getting injured" she sighed "But we can't leave them, what if they're having trouble with the beasts?" She questioned although she didn't really talk to Risto anymore and she didn't really get on with Vicci she didn't want to hear about them being killed by those bog-breath mutants. She glanced at Flak waiting to see what he would reply with, she knew he would probably dissagree but if they worked together maybe they would defeat the wolves.



Micah listened as Dusty spoke a slight smile grew on her face at how concerned he actually seemed "It'll take more than a mangy old mutant to get rid of me" she chuckled slightly shoving the male gently with her shoulder. A soothing feeling seemed to run across her paw as she looked at Dusty who seemed to be cleaning the specks of blood off, then explaining that the feline could herlp her "Ristos great at healing and everything but I don't want to bother him, besides I've had an injured paw before and well I managed to deal with it without any form of medication put onto it" she smiled as she looked at the tan male. Her tail thudded the stone as her tongue slightly lolled out her mouth as she lay her head on her paws. Then lifting up as he spoke again "Well thew tow felines went to the forest I think, but when the mutants arrived Xion went looking for them" she shrugged guessing they would be ok as she placed her head gently back onto her paws. A deathening howl was heard causing her head to jerk up as her eyes widened and peered around, it seemed to be coming from above the cliffs. Her head then jerked towards Flak as he spoke about moving 'But what about the cats and Xion?' She thought to herself as she heard Teegan then question him about it and giving him ideas, a small smile growing on her face. "Well we best get going, besides by the time we get off the pier and across the rocks, Flak would have made her mind up" she smilled slowly lifting to her paws as she looked down at the tan brute, her back right paw still slightly arched from the ground as she decided it was to soon to start applying pressure.



"You sure?" He questioned looking back at the fae as they still remained on the cliff "I can take them down onto the sand with no troubles" he added giving her a quick smile as she waited for his reply, his tail wagging slightly. He looked at the group who remained on the beach a smirk on his face as he watched the pup being dropped towards Flaks paws and being punished, spending time learning leassons with the wolf "That pup deserves everything he gets, Jip sighed feeling a little sorry on the pup, but he didn't blame the others on how they were reacting; he was a stubborn and ignorant mamal who needed taugh a stern lesson he then peered ad the two canines on the pier shooting a slight smile their way not sure if they could see. "Huh?!" He snapped shooting his head up towards the cliffs as a howl pierced his ears, then hearing Flaks voice rise to get everyone to move as it was infact coming from more mutants. Jip heard Teegan trying to convince him that if they worked together they could defeat the beasts, and he had to agree. He waited patiently to see what was going to happen "Never mind, we'll wait up here I dunno if we're moving or not" he shrugged shooting a glance as Cara then back at the group. A small nip felt on his tail as he turned to see the two small pups trying to catch his tail, letting out a chuckle he began wagging his curled tail keeping the pups amused until it was decided on what they were going to do.

"no its fine" cara replied smiling back her tail also wagging. she watched along side jip as the pup was told to spend time with the she wolf until he learned a lesson but she didnt feel sorry for him he was disobedient and stubborn. she pricked her ears as a mutant howled in the distance "not again she groaned. but she smiled as her pups played with jips tail.

"Look, it'd just be safer for everyone if we just went with the wolf. I'm not about to risk anyone else getting hurt or even killed." Flak quickly said with quiet growl. "Risto and Vicci are smart. I think. They can fend for themselves and easily slip away from any trouble they've got themselves in. And it's not like we're abandoning them. I'm waiting up for 'em." He added, lowering his head a bit. "So stop questioning and just go." He snapped impatiently, his ears flicking at the piercing howl from nearby, only putting him more on edge.

   Gavroche growled quietly as he was once again dropped to the ground by the wolf. He hopped to his feet instantly, glaring up at her. Without a word, he plopped down in front of the tunnel entrance, holding his head high in defiance.

Teegan let out a grunt as Flak began to snap "Ok,Ok I'm going" she muttered as she began to follow the others up to the cave, as she rolled her eyes. Coming to the ledge she jumped up as she whinced slightly as she landed on top, she watched as Cara, Jip and the pups padded up the narrow path and she just followed behind her tail slightly flicking in annoyance. Her ears pricked at few grunts and growls she could hear but the just decided to ignore them. 'Yeah and if there's a group up mutants against those felines they're going to get killed!' She snapped in her mind as she stormed towards the cave with her eyes narrowed, once entering the cage she looked around at the few canines that where seated in the cave. So she rolled her eyes and padded towards the cave walls then slouching hersels against them turning her head to look at the large gash on her side as she grumbled. Sticking out her tongue she began to lick the gash to clear and blood or sand that were around or in it, she winced again slightly as it began to sting but she couldn't help it, it needed cleaning. Stopping once she was satisfied to was clean she turned her head back towards the others as she placed her head on her paws, her brown eyes paced around.



Jip watched as Flak snapped at the female shepherd as the others began to depart so he decided to follow, turning around and nudging to pups with his nose telling them to follow and so they did. Causing a slight smile to grow on his face. The group soon arrived at the cave and he padded over towards Cara and nudged the two pups towards her "Go on, go to your mother" he smiled to the pups then Cara. Letting out a sigh he padded a little behind the others and lay beside the wall leaning on it, his tail continued to wag as it thudded against the stone. He watched as Teegan padded in with a slight limp as he then noticed a large gash on her side, watching her lay down and clean it. He lowered his ears a little feeling bad for the fae but he did realize she was pretty tough so he could handle it. Jip placed his head against the wall as he began to pant.
