Strays of the Ruins. (Stray dog/cat RP, open & accepting)

Vicci nodded and followed after Risto, hesitating outside the tunnel's entrance before walking in. Her eyes met the Coolie's eyes instantly, and moved her gaze elsewhere. However, she walked over to the dog, and sat down beside her, eyes still trained on the opposite wall as silence befell the two.

Flak let out a subtle huff, tapping his tail lightly against the stone ledge beneath him as he sat on the lookout. Small pawsteps made his ear swivel. Raising his head, he noticed the cats returning. Running his tongue over his nose quickly, he nodded a greeting at the two felines, then turned his head to continue his watch.

Gavroche stalked sulking in the shallows, not even bothering to make it look like he was hunting when he wasn't'. Ignoring Dusty's previous command, the pup hopped and splashed in the shallow water, letting the waves flip him onto his side occasionally, only to spring back up and pounce at the water again.

Crouching low, Dusty fixed his attention onto a silver fish, watching it slither through the water. It didn't seem to notice him as he raised a paw to scoop it out of the water. As that precise moment, as his paw touched the water, a loud splash rippled through the waves towards the fish. Terrified, the prey quickly darted towards the safe cracks of the rocks. Confused, Dusty glanced around, trying to find the source of the splash which scared off his prey. His eyes narrowed as he spotted Gavroche splashing in the water instead of hunting. He was about to storm over and teach the pup a good lesson when he stopped himself. Let Gavroche take care of himself. There's no point in scolding the pup, since he won't listen. Dusty reasoned. He decided to hunt for crabs now, since probably all the fish in the water was already scared off by Gavroche's splash. Letting out a huff, he eyed the shore for any crabs, ignoring the pup's movements.


Risto glanced at Flak for a moment, before heading towards Teegan's side. Of course he was going to check on her first; she was about the only nicest canine around here. Or the least annoying one. When he reached her, he wasn't surprised to see that she had fallen asleep. Carefully sniffing the gash on her side, he wrinkled his nose as he began to treat her wound. ((Too lazy to put it in details...))

After the wound looked satisfying, he rose to his paws and glanced around the room, unsure of who to treat next. Three were outside already, and he wanted to check on Micah due to her injured paw, but she was hunting and he would have to wait until she gets back. He turned and headed towards the Coolie and the other feline who seemed to be ignoring each other. He wasn't surprised. Females were always this snobby anyway. "Any serious wounds?" Risto grunted as he halted in front of them, eyeing their pelts.

The sound of laughter caught Jips attention, turning his head he looked down at the shallows and spotted Govrache bouncing around in the wave his tail beginning to wag. Turning his head he looked at Dusty then Flak at the top of the cliff, letting out a sigh he turned his attention back towards the rocks and began hunting for crabs again. By now for sure they would have enough food, him and Micah had already made four small piles and were already working on another.


Micahs head spun around to see Govrache bouncing around in the waves, a small chuckle escaped her mouth as she watched the small pup having fun. It had been a while since she acted like a pup, most others would snap at her for it and tell her to grow up. Sighing she lowered her head looking into the water then turning to look at her food pile, shrugging she smirked looking at the pup. As she was catching fish she slammed into the water but carefully so she didn't hurt her back paw, sending splashes every where and into the pup. Chuckling she threw the dead fish in the pile and looked at Govrache.


Teegan heard tiny paw steps coming into the cave causing her ears to twitch, her eyes slowly opened as she turned her head to see Risto coming to treat her wound, she gave a smile to the feline then turning the other way and letting out a yawn. She watched as he fixed the wound her brow raised slightly interested in what he was doing. Once he was finished she gave the feline a smile then nodded her head "Thanks.." She smiled with a flick of her tail as she watched him go check on the others.

Tongue hanging from his grinning maw, Gavroche continued rearing up and diving head first into the shallows. As he plunged his head out of the surface and shook it, another sudden splash hit him, making him shake his head again. Opening his eyes back up, he lowered an eyebrow as he noticed it was Teegan. "Hey!" He barked, this time in a playful tone, wobbling a bit as the surf threatened to sweep the tiny pup off his paws again.

"No." The two said in unison, but neither seemed to mind. Xizon gave a small smile while Vicci just stared with little to no expression, neither hostile nor friendly. The feline flicked her tail as the dog tilted her head, both seeming to have their attention focused on Rusty - Though Xizon's was sort of...drifting away after a while.

Risto let out a huff. "Alright, but let me at least check just in case." He replied, placing down his herbs. After inspecting their pelts, he picked up the herbs without another word and headed over to Maria (or Marie?). However much he disliked the wolf, he still wanted to make sure she was okay. Besides, she could be useful in some cases, like this one. Plopping the herbs onto the ground once more, he turned towards the wolf. "You okay? Any serious injures?" he questioned, noticing that Flak was beside her. "How about you?"

Flak perked his ears at the sudden familiar voice of Risto. Glancing over his shoulder, he stared down at the cat and shook his head. "No. I'm okay. Don't waste any herbs on me. Save 'em for someone who needs it." He responded in a gentle tone, flicking his tail against the stone beneath him occasionally. "Thank you." He added, his mood lightening up a bit towards the cat.

"Nope im good" marie told the cat "vut thank you,is teegan treated?" She asked casually wantin gto makr sure the sheperd was ok.

Surprise lit in the feline's eyes when Flak replied with a gentle tone. He had never seen the brute respond to him like this. "Yeah, sure." He muttered, hiding his surprised tone as he turned towards the wolf. "Yeah, I just treated her first." Risto replied, nodding towards the two. He glanced at the scar on Flak's pelt, before heading back into the tunnel. The only members of the group he hadn't treated was those three hunting, along with Cara. ((I'm having trouble remembering the others...)) He knew that Cara hadn't attacked the mutants, but he still wanted to be safe. Heading towards the mutt, he quietly placed the herbs down. "Did you hurt yourself while escaping?" he asked, eyeing the pups. They seemed okay, but he couldn't really tell through the clumps of fur.
