Risto's eyes widened at Flak's words. Speechless, he shook his head. " - pup." He muttered. "Doesn't he know that it's a hurricane? Doesn't that pup have any sense at all?" Risto snapped, anger and worry emerging from his words. Letting out a sigh, the feline plopped down on his haunches, staring out at the sky. "What if he's hurt?" the tom wondered out loud, wishing that Gavroche at least knew how to clean a wound. At Marie's protesting, the feline's ears perked. He wasn't sure who to side with, both canines had a good reason. If they did send a search party right now, it would be too dangerous and the wind and rain would confuse the scents of the pup's trail. But if they waited, the pup could already be dead or the scents would be all gone.
Stumped, Risto did not hear Dusty padding up from behind him.
"Um, I heard you guys speaking about Gavroche." Dusty started, feeling uncomfortable as he glanced at all three of them. "I think I might know where the pup went. Before I headed into the cave, I noticed a dark figure heading towards the forest. I thought it was an unlucky piece of prey, so I left it alone. That was when I realized that Gavroche wasn't in the cave when I came in." The brute explained, flicking his tail. "And...and I think I might have caused this by angering Gavroche earlier..."
