Dusty's ears perked when he heard Marie speaking to Flak. "A dip in the ground?...I hope the water doesn't fill it up." He muttered, nearly shivering at the thought of it. Shaking out his pelt, he lifted his head in attempt to see over Gavroche and Flak, wondering how far the dip would be. His paws were sore and his legs were aching from all this walking and all. Feeling like a brat, he shook out his pelt and continued forward, flattening his ears as he throw several glances behind him.

Flak craned his ears forward to catch Marie's words before nodding. "Alright." He agreed quietly. Flicking his tail up, he trotted around the she-wolf to take the lead, blinking some rain water from his eyes. "Wait- a dip in the ground?" He murmured in realization, coming to a brief halt and raising an eyebrow at the wolf after Dusty raised an obvious point. "Yeah, no doubt that'll be flooded by now." He barked, a growl of agitation begining to grow in his throat at their lack of preparation.

"marie padded along side flak for a minute to speak "there a stream that leads out of it towards the bottom of the cliff... its never flooded before not even in th3e rare hurricain. the stream acts as a drain." she said hopeing in her mind that the stream had yet again drained out the camp

The strong winds continued to blow and for some reason it hurt, maybe because she was already cold and the rain was just adding to it? Sighing Teegan urged on the pup dangling from her maw must have been freezing but there was nothing she could do, stopping to warm it up could waste time and cause a death for two. Picking up the pace slightly as she peered at the front realizing the others had stopped "Uh yeah, the water isn't rising or anything..." She muttered to herself peering over to side at the crashing waves and fast flowing ocean. Shaking her pelt she shrugged and padded onward with the pack.


Micah looked up to see Marie talking then backing away slightly "A dip?" She muttered to herself rolling her eyes slightly "We need somewhere warm, not so the storm can get at us!" She muttered to herself once again. Shaking the water from her pelt she slowly followed the pack her neck craned slightly as the pup continued to hung. Slight whimpers escaped her maw as thunder continued to rumbled across the skies.


Jip looked at Cara for a moment then quickly swapped side, then looking forward to Flak and Marie who were discussing where they would be going. "I hope we get there soon, the pups are going to be freezing. Along with everyone else" he complained a little his tone muffled by the small pup. He looked into Caras good eye for a split second then turned back to where they were going; he knew Cara would have been using him as a guide at this point so he didn't change sides again.

cara sighed in relief as jip moved back to her good side. she kept padding along. she hoped they got here soon her small pup was beggining to shiver and was soaking wet.

as they aproache dthe top of the cliff marie saw the slight dip in the ground. she also saw in relief the stream that led away from the dip was indeed working as a drain. she stayed at the back of the pack but silently pleaded that they would pick up the pace a little

Dusty peered over, seeing the dip in the ground. "Yikes. That'll fill up fast." He muttered, glancing back at Marie. "Are you sure this is the right place? I don't want to take anymore chances."

"And you know how much I hate being in water." Dusty heard Risto mutter. Shaking his head, the brute examined the dip, feeling slightly suspicious. Glancing from Marie to Flak, he gently nudged the black brute.

"Are you sure we should stay inside? Even though the stream is like a drain for a water...something could happen."

Teegan looked at the dip and lowered a brow a little "Doesn't look safe" she muttered to herself as they drew closer, peering over it seemed there was no water left. Snarling slightly she stepped a paw down then peering in a little more. She turned to look at the others with a questioned look on her face, she wasn't to sure about this place but least it had some sort of shelter for the pups and the others.


Micah stopped with the group and peered around the dip, her head tilted slightly in confusion of how no water was there, then listening to what Marie said she looked at her for the second then looked in the dip.


Once coming to the dip Jip placed his paws at the edge of the dip and looking down, he slightly turned his head to see Cara and watching to make sure she stopped.
